Q: What do you guys have to do to get off the field on third downs?
A: We just have to rush the passer. Rush the passer and play better defense.
Q: Do you feel pressure to get sacks based on what the Giants have paid you?
A: No, I just have to play my game.
Q: Is it frustrating that the d-line hasnít had many sacks?
A: It is the beginning of the season, so no.
Q: How much has the wrist bothered you?
A: Iím not talking about that.
Q: Does your prep change with a new offensive coordinator taking over for Baltimore this week?
A: You know that they arenít going to change their whole offense just because they have a new offensive coordinator. They will still stick to some basic things that they have been doing and just add a little bit here and there. I am just getting ready for a good team to play.
Q: Does it make it harder to prepare when they change?
A: It could, but that is why we are professionals and we watch film and we watch film as much as we can and as much as we can grasp and we move forward.
Q: What are the characteristics that make Joe Flacco a good quarterback?
A: He can make the big play and he is an athlete. People forget that he is an athlete and he can make plays with his feet, as well, so we just have to get him off his spot.
Q: Terrance West has run the ball very well. Does West show you something that makes them a little more dangerous?
A: Yeah, he is a very explosive back. He is very athletic and he can make plays with his feet and right now we are just going to have to contain and play our ball, play Giant football.
Q: The missed tackles have been a problem. How do you fix that during the week?
A: We just have to get back to fundamentals. That is the main thing, getting back to the fundamentals. At the end of the day, it is football, so we have to get it right.
Q: Are you surprised about the low sack numbers? You guys are at the bottom of the league.
A: It is the beginning of the season.
Q: Is there anything specific that you guys have to do different in that area?
A: We just have to stick to Giant football.
Q: You and JPP switched sides the other game. How much of a difference does that make?
A: It really does make a difference. That was just a certain adjustment that we had to do.
Q: How important is it for you guys to start getting to the quarterback?
A: Obviously it is very important, but we just have to get working on it.
Q: The first couple games you were very good against the run. What has happened these last two weeks?
A: No, we just have to do better. We have to play Giant football.
