Q: Inaudible
A: From what I remember it was pretty good. I’m a fan of getting on planes. I love getting on them. You can really get away from everything and get some time to yourself. I got a lot of time to myself. I was pretty much asleep the whole time. It was a nice trip. I’m happy to be back over here.
Q: How do you think your body is going to feel on Sunday with the time change?
A: You never know until you get there. I’ve done traveling in the past and switching different time zones. I’ve gone from here to here and back there. It depends. Hopefully we get some great weather. The last time I came here I think it was a high of like 95. It was hot last time I came here. Just depending on how the weather goes. Hopefully everything adjusts at the right time and we’ll be ready to prepare for Sunday.
Q: Do you like coming in at this time and just playing rather than spending more time to get acclimated?
A: I didn’t book the flights. We just hopped on them. You have to make some adjustments. Just adjust. Everything will work itself out. They were three hours back. I think the time difference is even greater on their end. I think the Giants had a plan for us. We just have to trust the plan.
Q: Inaudible
A: Packing a bag in advance instead of scrambling to run out of the house and pack a bag. You just have to mentally prepare. You know there’s going to be a time difference and you know you’re going to be tired. I think this might be the most awake I’ve been since I’ve been here. Since I’ve been here I’ve been exhausted. Just get a chance to catch up on some sleep. Maybe catch a nap now and get prepared for tomorrow. Get prepared for Sunday.
Q: How do you feel?
A: I feel good. Traveling probably doesn’t help as much but I feel better. Definitely better than yesterday. I’m waking up a little more. My body is starting to wake up all over. Hopefully they’ll be no issues.
Q: Any doubt in your mind you’ll be able to play this week?
A: Not so much. Once you get there and feel the atmosphere. Like I said, last week I made it through by the grace of God. Just him giving me the strength. Also it’s the atmosphere that you’re in, the adrenaline rush that you can get. It’ll make the pain and the nagging of it kind of go away in a sense. Hopefully there will be a lot more of that and I’ll be ready for Sunday.
Q: What do you think the key is on Sunday?
A: We have to come out and play the way I feel that we are capable of playing. Like you said, they’re a great defense. They have a great front seven. They have some guys in their secondary that can play. Some guys that are out there that can make big hits. They’re a very physical team. A very chippy team. I love the way they play. It’s going to be quite a matchup.
Q: Confidence?
A: I don’t know so much as a boost of confidence. Going off of last week and seeing what we’re capable of doing, it’s just a matter of building off of that. Keep building and progressing. I think the key thing that we really didn’t mention last week was the offensive line. They only gave up I think one sack. There was no penalties besides the penalty that I had. We played at a high-level on offense last week. Overcame adversity even when we were down. Pretty much the whole game. Down 10 going into the third and fourth quarter. I don’t know exactly how it went but I know that we trailed a lot. We just kept fighting and fighting. It shows what this team is made of and what we’re capable of doing.
Q: Josh being left behind, how much do you think it effects the team?
A: Obviously it’s going to be talked about. This is New York. It’s going to be talked about. With us, like I said, the information is brought to us because of everything that goes on. As far as talking about it right now, I think everyone is trying their hardest to focus on London. After that, you really get to look into it and see what’s going on. Right now, the main focus has to be London and the Rams. We’re going againt a great team.
Q: Congrats to you and the net. How do you feel about that?
A: It’s having fun. Taking the jokes. They try and make fun of you and you just spin it right back. That’s all it is. There’s really no way to bother me. When it first happened and I hit the net and there was a big deal about it, I take it and do the same thing. I can see that not everyone likes that. It is what it is.
Q: Where do you see your relationship ending?
A: I don’t know. We’ll see where it goes. If there was ever a wedding, Jarvis Landry would be my best man for sure. Just have to throw that out there.
Q: People talk bad about it. Does that bother you?
A: No, it doesn’t bother me. If I ran off the field and didn’t celebrate it would be something that was written. Either way it goes, you have to live life. Enjoy it and have fun. No matter what I do there’s going to be extra attention. Period. If I dyed my hair another color, there would be attention. If I wear some funky shoes, there’s going to be extra attention. It is what it is at this point. You just have to go out and me personally, I have to do the best to not be a distraction to my team. I don’t think they’ve ever felt that way in a sense. Everyone in the locker room knows what it is with me. They know how I feel about them and what I’m willing to do and give to them each and every day. Not just on Sunday.
Q: Inaudible
A: I agree with him. The trip really couldn’t have come at a better time. We went 2-0. Lost three straight, battled and fought hard. Won this one and now we’re 3-3. We’re going into our last game before the bye week. Then, you make that back-season stretch and push. This is a very big game for us as far as seeing what kind of team we are, what we can go through and how to handle everything. Overcoming adversity.
Q: Anything you want to do here?
A: I’ve came out here a couple of times. There’s so much I want to do in life in general with this world. Right now, it’s about spending sometime with my teammates and showing them around. At least whatever I know. It isn’t much but still better than nothing. Just getting a chance to bond with them really. Let them see and enjoy everything. This is opportunities that when you’re five years old, never did you think you would be playing football in London. That just never really was implanted in my mind unless it was soccer. Just enjoy this. Enjoy it all.
Q: Going to see any soccer?
A: Possibility but I don’t know. He said that if I wanted to go the game then we could. Maybe if some of the wide outs or some other people want to go we’ll get a group together. If they present us with that opportunity, we may take them up on that. The most important thing right now is just about resting and getting ready for Sunday.
Q: You have one of the highest selling jerseys in the NFL Europe shop. What does that mean to you?
A: It gave me chills when you said that. It’s a blessing. It definitely is a blessing. I appreciate all the ones out there that do have the jerseys. All the ones that hopefully will be getting it in the future. It’s really great. I’ve come a long way. Like I said, right now we have some big goals that we’re focused on. We don’t want to settle for anything less than that.
Q: Stadium?
A: I can’t wait to get there. See the atmosphere and the stadium. It’s going to be like a dream come true. Hopefully I can get out there and just have fun. Embrace it all and enjoy every moment. You don’t get too many like that. I’m looking forward to it.
Q: What do you expect from the atmosphere?
A: I expect a lot of cheers for everything. Hopefully it’s at loud as it is when you have the FIFA turned all the way up and you score a goal or something. I’m defiantly looking forward to it. This is exciting for this culture as well. We’re taking steps and we’re moving. I’m sure there’s going to be people that aren’t going to have just the Rams and Giants jersey’s on. I’m sure they’ll be supporting whatever team they support. Still, all in all, they’ll be enjoying it. Like I said, I’m looking forward to it.

A: You have to protect yourself at all times. I think that comes down to not just you protecting yourself but everyone in the game of football. Refs, the NFL, everyone. Everyone has to understand what is at stake. You don’t need stuff like that to happen. What happened last time, it just shouldn’t be a big issue. Do expect it. If it’s not there, then it won’t be there. Always stay ready so you don’t have to get ready.
