This should be my 3rd and last report on the topic. I earlier had reported my cat was near death with the brain tumor. Blind, bumping into walls ,peeing on the floor and sitting in it. Nothing good going on. At times she was in pain and had seisures.
I started the THC and CBD treatment October 20th. Not much early success. Increased the dose and changed the delivery method over the next 2 weeks . Her seisures stopped. I guess you could say she was holding on.
On November 14 I really upped the dose and quickly saw results. Within a day she purred and talked to me. Then a day later she stood on her rear legs to pee and poop. Started using the litter box again .Soon she began jumping up on the bed.
I continued these massive dosses for 2 plus weeks. I went through 1/2 gram every 2 1/2 days. The only hurrdle left was for her to eat and drink on her own. That happened on the 10 th of December. She has been on her own since then. Better then ever. She no longer sneezed; is more affectionate then ever and is doing great. Lets hope it holds up
So besides beeing lucky and happy I want other pet owners to seriously consider this option in treating cancer. Don't expect many vets to be familiar with this treatment but in my case it seems to be a God send. My Vet is blown away
The book on this treatment
says 2 grams over 15 days. I likely did 6+ grams over 7 weeks. Cats and dogs metabolize this stuff much quicker then people so it works faster.
I find this correlation between THC and Cancer intriguing, and am happy for you that the result has been positive.
Finally it dawned on me to empty a gelatin vitamin cap and fill it with the oils. Thats when the real progress came as I was easily able to give larger doses 3 times a day. But with the larger doses came dehydration or cotton mouth so IV's were needed to hydrate her on a daily basis.
This next question may not sound serious but it is. Can you just do bong hits and blow the smoke into the cat's face giving her a contact high?
I am glad to hear success stories. Hopefully, we will be able to take these successes and have some legitimate alternatives and documented treatments soon. Good luck OP.
Keep posting! Good luck.

Man, I like to think of myself as a reasonable person. Now, I don't indulge myself any more with cannabis but I really hope these dinosaurs die off.
They have to get with, yes, the 20th century!
Dumb bastards.
Next, I doubt you can bong blow the smoke into the cat in lieu of oil for a few reasons. The amount you would need to blow would be crazy. I think that one ounce of reefer equates to 3 grams of THC oil( don't hold me to exact). Smoke is not good for the lungs nor would the cat be happy getting it near the eyes.
THC seems to work by cutting off or interferring with the tumors ability to produce some kind of emzyme that it needs to make new cancer sells. Kind of the same way science does it with flea pills. The chemicals in flea pills interfere with the fleas ability to make the protein needed for their skeleton . So since the cancer cannot make the necessary emzyme to produce new cells it ends up eating the cells it has and kills itself. Something like that
Yes supposedly it works on humans. Absolutely they say. Skin cancer, prostrate cancer and brain tumor . I think it works on many many types but I was only concerned with my situation AND was willing to use Boomer as a guinea pig to see if this treatment could be effective for others someday.
My cat did go through some pain to get to the light at the end of the tunnel. It sickened me to see her put both her paws to her ears and press on her head as if she had a migrane all the while contorting her body . I did believe there was going to be a light at the tunnel's end so I was intent on letting her suffer for a short period if it meant success.
One night I took the dose I gave her and the room spun. I was nauseous and for a long long time. Everyone will handle it differently but I don't think its fun dosing yourself with THC. But if it kicks cancers ass you do it.
I've read enough stories on BBI with loved ones losing family members so I do hope this will open eyes and at least be an option.
These are the findings of studies NCI have included:
Cannabinoids may inhibit tumor growth by causing cell death, blocking cell growth, and blocking the development of blood vessels needed by tumors to grow. Laboratory and animal studies have shown that cannabinoids may be able to kill cancer cells while protecting normal cells.
Cannabinoids may protect against inflammation of the colon and may have potential in reducing the risk of colon cancer, and possibly in its treatment.
A laboratory study of delta -9-THC in hepatocellular carcinoma (liver cancer) cells showed it damaged or killed the cancer cells. The same study of delta-9-THC in models of liver cancer showed that it had anti-tumor effects. Delta-9-THC has been shown to cause these effects by acting on molecules that may also be found in non-small cell lung cancer cells and breast cancer cells.
A laboratory study of cannabidiol (CBD) in estrogen receptor positive and estrogen receptor negative breast cancer cells showed that it caused cancer cell death while having little effect on normal breast cells. Studies of metastatic breast cancer showed that cannabinoids may lessen the growth, number, and spread of tumors.
A laboratory study of cannabidiol in human glioma cells showed that when given along with chemotherapy, CBD may make chemotherapy more effective and increase cancer cell death without harming normal cells. Studies showed that CBD together with delta-9-THC may make chemotherapy such as temozolomide more effective.
These studies are considered by the NCI as preclinical. They were all done using animals. According to them, no clinical trials of cannabis use for the treatment of cancer in humans have been published.
The way it works is that the cannabinoids bind with receptors in our cells and if it is an unhealthy cell (cancerous) it tells the cell to produce an enzyme from our immune system that then destroys the cell. So if it's a healthy cell, the enzyme isn't produced, but if it's tumorous, it does. Simply put, marijuana is like a Santa's little helper to our immune system.
p.s.--And it's also a natural anti-inflammatory, which is what makes it useful in treating and preventing a bunch of other ailments.
Here's how it works - ( New Window )
Thanks again.

Bless you for doing this for your kitty.
