NFT: ESPN story - Logan Schoenhardt - 10 year old passes away

I know recently there has been a lot of dumping on ESPN, for good reason. However, these stories of athletes giving back to kids is something I wish they did more of, because I would watch more often.

Logan Schoenhardt, a huge Tom Brady fan, died of a brain tumor. If you saw this story, it was tough not to choke up. He had Brady;s number drilled into his skull as a way of going through the surgery.

A lot of athletes/teams give back in stories like these, so even though there are situations where athletes are always in the news for the wrong reason, this one is worth watching.

story and inspirational at the same time. Been all over the news up here today. For every DUI or temper tantrum or obscene gesture from an athlete that is focused on by the media there are probably 10 stories like this that get un or under reported.

He truly conveys the stories like this amazingly. Tough, tough kid who had very good care at Connecticut Children's Hospital in Hartford. I hate everything Patriots but I'm sure glad this kid was able to watch them win the Super Bowl this year with Brady leading the team to victory.

God bless the family going through that struggle with their son. God bless that young man for having to endure such suffering.
