I see the Rangers sent Magnus Hellberg back down to Hartford. So who is replacing him? Or is it just until the Rangers play again on Friday to give him some playing time down there until such time?
. Don’t know if the Rangers are going to get Kevin Shattenkirk, but there is one free-agent defenceman they could snare. His name is Alexei Bereglazov, a 22-year-old left-hand shot playing at KHL Magnitogorsk. They are considered a favourite.

Over/under on how many times we call him Bryzgalov?
looks like we'll host Buffalo on New Year's at Citifield for the winter classic (though it sounds like it's not 100% sealed yet). lonk - ( New Window )

If the game is at Citi Field, why wouldn't the Isles be the home team? If the Sabres are the home team, why wouldn't the game be in Buffalo? This seems like an odd scenario.
I thought I wouldn't but I love the Winter Classics Â

Depends on whether or not he's entranced by the mysteries of the universe.

The lower bowl can't really see because it's too far away and too low and the boards are up and depending on the weather get a little foggy.
Upper deck or mezzanine level are the best seats for viewing.
Still my friends up here remind me it's about the experience, which is awesome, not necessarily the hockey.
I heard Gillette was better than Fenway, but I didn't go that one, tickets too expensive.
I'd go to Citifield for one if I lived nearby.

Because the NHL wants to sell tickets and generate TV ratings.
Hi-oh, i'll be here all week. Besides, its not a done deal the Islanders are moving to Queens yet.

Haha, good points, but it's not like the Sabres are a hugely popular team, especially when the game is played ~400 miles away.
