1st Mock attempt this year based on needs mostly
Break it down for me BBI
I do see your point regarding another sub 6 wide receiver. I think ODB - Marshall - Shepherd will see most snaps anyways with Lewis Jr and Harris backing them up. I think the late Rd value would be more for depth and special teams.
I don't think you pay Ellison that money to just block and they took Adams last year in the draft. With Tye I could see another committee approach by Reese. What do I know maybe they take Njoku though or another TE on day 2
Very possibly with regards to another TE. Paid Ellison good money and they spent most of their time on offense last year in 3WR - 1TE - 1RB formation. I could see them going TE in round 3 and maybe waiting on a CB until early day 3
They might take one if things fall that way, but I doubt they'd force a pick at that position, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if they don't pick one.
Haven't seen him rated as a first rounder...
Besides, with these 3 wrs starting..,.A TE that can run up the seam...,..Will cause nightmares for defensive coordinators.
I would love Njoku in round 1 or Engram round 2, maybe Butt or Legget in round 3.
Yup. Early second at the latest.
2. DT
Mine day before yesterdat started as
1.Lamp (as OG)
2. Montavious Adams
after that I think it was
3. TE
warming up to better bigger guards and big 2TE sets to help set the edges and resurrect the outside zone runs.
bigger guards (and center even maybe) plus 2 blocking tights ends radically changes this offense in a way that may exceed this O of last year, as it was, but with a good OLT.
