Let's get this party started after the chalkiest first day in many years....
12:15 - #7 Michigan vs. #10 Okie St
12:40 - #3 Baylor vs. #14 New Mexico St
1:30 - #8 Arkansas vs. #9 Seton Hall
2:00 - #3 Oregon vs. #14 Iona
2:45 - #2 Louisville vs. #15 Jacksonville St
3:10 - #6 SMU vs. #11 USC
4:00 - #1 UNC vs. #16 Texas Southern
4:30 - #6 Creighton vs. #11 Rhode Island
6:50 - #1 Kansas vs. #16 UC Davis
7:10 - #7 Dayton vs. #10 Wichita St
7:20 - #2 Duke vs. #15 Troy
7:27 - #6 Cincinnati vs. #11 Kansas St
9:20 - #8 Miami vs. #9 Michigan St
9:20 - #2 Kentucky vs. #15 Northern Kentucky
9:50 - #7 South Carolina vs. #10 Marquette
9:57 - #3 UCLA vs. #14 Kent State
For long shots... UCLA doesn't play defense so I'd give #14 Kent State a chance and #16 UC Davis is the best of the #16 seeds and KU is the worst so maybe that can be a miracle.
He had some trashy tatoos too.
Metnut, your take on the ND/Princeton game couldn't have been more wrong. Both statements you made, "minor miracle ND won and Princeton took it to them" are completely inaccurate.
ND established control early and never relinquished it. The game was close because we were uncharacteristically missing free throws after being assaulted most of the game. Some of the contact by Princeton may have been criminal offenses.
B's whining that the referees were favoring ND because of the difference in foul totals proves he either didn't watch the game or doesn't know what he's seeing. Both options are equally possible.
You'll need to improve your analysis Nut, although you fit in well with these two amateurs at the moment.
BTW, Zaga would be the weakest 1 seed, not Kansas.
Have a Happy Irish Day!
Don't bother. The guy is a Loser.

The refs certainly didn't favor ND (you're right that we were mugged left and right) but doesn't change the fact that ND played their worst game in at least a month. The defense (Farrell in particular) was awful down the stretch with PU shooting open corner 3s everywhere. The 3 alums I watched the game with all felt the same way.
If you think ND played good yesterday I don't know what to tell you. It's a testament to Brey and the program that we're advancing after laying egg vs a good team rather than being ousted. After playing 9:50 tipoffs all last week, I think the noon tipoff and Colson being off with an ankle hurt them. I expect them to do better vs WVU.
OK Curly

I don't think we played well yesterday, just offering some constructive comments about your analysis. I know you're an Irish fan and would take it for what it's worth.
Scott Drew teams gonna do what Scott Drew teams do
Best game of the tourney thus far.
almost let State back in but they miss two wide open 3's and push off. Michigan ball coming out of the commercial.
As entertains a game as I can remember this year.
Walton again!
32-6 run. They look really good.
State won't die!
give that man an MVP pin.
I guess Wilson iced it!
What a great game.
Michigan made a million threes in the 2nd half and OK State still had a chance to win.
Wilson a little better, State would have done better on the boards. Evans missed at least 4 lay ups that I counted. Can't blame the score total on his last missed layup, that banked in three has no business going in.
Both teams fearless on offense, not much collective defense going on but there were some great individual defensive plays.
Both teams looked strong. Michigan might do some damage.
Looks like it was just a drive by.

Let me guess, Notre Dame should have been the 1 seed as opposed to the Zags.
Exactly. Total horse shit
Replay is ruining sports. The refs are now overanalyzing everything - of course it's going to look worse in slow-mo.
