UNC vs. Arkansas at 6:10 PM.
URI vs. Oregon at 7:10 PM.
USC vs. Baylor at 7:45 PM.
South Carolina vs. Duke at 8:40 PM.
Cincinnati vs. UCLA at 9:40 PM.
Outside of the Heels winning, I'd love to see URI advance. Also, I think Michigan State gives Kansas a game.

Cheapest I found were tickets in the 400s for 250. The price isn't bad, especially for two games, but I'd honestly rather watch on TV instead of being all the way up there. The nosebleeds in the Garden kinda suck.

Duke didn't have a point guard and couldn't defend for shit. Their defense in the 2nd half was comically bad. They played terrific in the ACC tournament, but they lost 3 of 4 prior to that, so while everyone thinks they were read hot coming in, they were only 5-3 in their last 8.
It was a flawed team all year. Defensively they just were not good enough. South Carolina is a bad offensive squad and they took it to them in the 2nd half

ITA. They simply couldn't stay in front of their man from about the 5 minute mark on. I watched a LOT of South Carolina games this season and outside of Thornwell, they're an atrocious offensive team.

Yup, Pretty much been the deal all year - they couldn't guard anyone. Were also essentially playing 4 SG/SF types at all times without a true PG. Not one of K's better rosters or coaching jobs.
I know probably 15 came on free throws at end, but that's as bad of a defensive performance in the 2nd half as you will ever see on any level in basketball
Well, he was the one that sold his soul to the devil and turned to the OAD model like Calipari. No one forced him to do that. And he still had 2 of his 5 best players as upperclassmen.
And the depth part is just hilarious. That's his fault and only his fault. They have 10 mcdonalds all americans. It's his fault that he hasn't developed a bench, the players are there. Ojeleye is the perfect example, he had him glued to the bench
Lynn Marshall remained in the stands about 10 minutes after the final buzzer. She at first consoled fans and family members of the team's players. But then she started shouting loudly about the calls made during the game. Eventually, the people around coaxed her to leave and the police officer followed.
She later was taken back to the playing level on an elevator so she could attend her husband's news conference.
Team spokesman Bryan Holmgren said the team was unaware of the situation and could not comment.
K just whines. His first comment was how physical South Carolina was aka we should gotten more calls. Then he went to injuries.
Without analyzing his career it did seem a bit melodramatic - and maybe it was another shot at one of the worst committee performances I can recall in 15-20 years...
but bottom line it was a coach respectful and knowledgeable about the talent level of the other team, so not sure why after the game he would say things like 'better team lost'
Then again this is a coach that went off / after a fan who said 'you suck' to him at halftime, so maybe he's losing it a little.
I know basketball like the back of my hand. While I was at Bucknell, with their esteemed academic tradition and their squeaky clean program, I sat at a cafeteria bench that once supported Jay Wright's ass, and I bet his DNA actually rubbed off on my jeans, so people rooting for those wannabe academics like ND and Duke can kiss the bottom of my Wright-stained Wranglers and get a clue. Mongrels like that Jarhead Greg who keep blabbing on about Virginia can put that in a balloon and shove it up his ass.
I don't want to hear from B because of some unwritten rule that if your team is in the NIT that you can't comment on the NCAA because, well that's just how I roll. I ate burgers made by the same lady with drooping tricep flab as Jay Wright, one of basketball's greatest minds, so lick my nutsack, motherfuckers.
I mean just look at Wright's complexion - so creamy white compared to Coach K and Mike Brey, who looked like they have a raging case of rosacea, with their faces lit up like they've been frostbitten in the winds of Lambeau as they huff and puff at the refs for not giving them every call. Sure, K can do his "gee whillikers" routine in a pre-game presser, and then spend the next 40 minutes as the Devil incarnate, rat-faced twin of Shanahan, while Bucknell and their string of academics tries hard to comprehend what all of the 4-letter words mean. Afterall, in Lewisberg, PA, if it isn't at least a 6-letter word, it is laughed at as being the tools of the ignorant.
But as I type out this, I'm reminded that only 16 teams remain and even Bucknell isn't one of them, so stepping on the same floors as Jay Wright shouldn't impress you. Acting as if Duke and ND are impeccable models of excellence that graduate 4-year starters at ridiculously high rates shouldn't impress you. Calling Greg a fat troll who likes a defensive team that is harder to watch than a Victorian period piece shouldn't impress you. I'm just a cockmonkey, but at least I'm on my first handle:)

The right side of the bracket looks so much better than the left side now. I'm thinking Arizona plays Wisconsin in a national semifinal, while Kansas plays UNC or Kentucky in the other.

But watch this if you think this was a charge. He got raked in the face, chest, and arm before any charge or travel.
They got the benefit of the whistle on the out of bounds play, but this wasn't a charge and Hicks also should have had an and one on his dunk.
Officiating has not been good, but those screaming charge or walk here are wrong, imo

but i've said from the start that could have been called a blocking foul.
for whatever reason the refs let both teams play throughout the game - if the game had been called like Duke / So Carolina, which bizarrely was the game right after this in Greensville (almost like the second game refs felt they had to make up for how the first game was officiated) - both teams would have fouled out 3 players. I think UNC only had 3 fouls called on them the entire second half?
And yes they missed an obvious 'and one' on Hicks earlier that would have tied the game.
B - sorry but no one neutral concludes Arkansas was fouled on the later 3 point shot. Clearly when a player misses the bucket by 8 feet which is what happened on that airball though, you can assume UNC got some of the ball. They should have given Arkansas the ball with 1 tick left.
Bottom line - UNC played lousy and was lucky to advance. Roy's refusal to use timeouts when other teams go on runs is baffling. But man did Arkansas go into an offensive shell just standing around milking shot clock on every single position inside 3:30 to go in the game. They didnt play to win.
I did see a foul on Berry which ripped off two of his fingernails though late in the first half (and oh by the way Arkansas went on a massive run from down 17 at the time while UNC's floor general was getting tended to by the team physician).
Obviously the 27-10 foul discrepancy i believe it was ... was shady. Carolina benefited. But Meeks didnt commit a foul on that one play and the refs generally sucked all afternoon.

Yeah, Capel, Grant, and Shaka... One thing I can say about them, they all left VCU better than they found it.
