Draft Board Guru updated their Top 100 and Draft Value Chart

Milton : 4/12/2017 10:37 am
The Huddle Report has been tracking the draftniks for the past several years and Draft Board Guru appears to be one of the best in the business when it comes to predicting how the draft will fall.

Draft Board Guru Top 100

Draft Value--Offense

Draft Value--Defense

I noticed some inconsistencies between their top 100 and their value charts, but it's minor. It's interesting to compare the draft boards of the various draftnik websites to see where there is consensus and where there are wide discrepancies. While there is a lot of consensus, each site tends to go rogue with their rankings on two or three prospects. With the Draft Board Guru, Zach Cunningham at #53 is a good example.

Below are the rankings from three other reputable sites...

Top 100 scores

Mock Draft Scores

Over the past five years, Draft Board Guru is #1 at predicting the top 100 and #11 when it comes to putting together a 1st round mock draft. For comparison: Bob McGinn is #2 at predicting the top 100 and #6 at putting together a 1st round mock; Mike Mayock is #6 at predicting the top 100 and #5 at putting together a 1st round mock.

It's a great time of year to dream.
Melifonwu

I have a feeling he is going to be the pick. Unless Hankins leaves. Then I think it is McDowell.

Why would they pick a safety when they just drafted two? Giants will go by value and Melifonwu will be ranked much higher than the other guys likely available. I believe Ramczyk, Howard, Barnett, Njoku etc will all be gone.

Melifonwu is 6'4" and 224 lbs. Ran a 4.40 and has an incredible 44 inch vertical. TE and big WRs are all the rage. This guy can cover both. Could be perennial all pro.
