Bored at work. Thought I'd put together a little mock draft. I'm sure you guys are going to tear it apart. This is what I think the Giants will do. Not what I would do personally.
1(23) - Zach Cunningham LB Vanderbilt
2(55) - Jordan Leggett TE Clemson
3(87) - Daeshon Hall DE Texas A& M
4(140) - Larry Ogunjobi DT Charlotte
5(167) - Zane Gonzalez K Arizona State
6(207) - Will Holden OT Vanderbilt
7(241) - Kareem Are OG FSU
You like Cunjingham more than Davis? Or do you think Davis will be gone by #23?
I believe he called him "Michael Boley light" lol.
I also don't see the Giants passing on a CB in this draft. In fact, I'd bet they take one early day two at the latest.
I think the Giants can do better at TE then Leggett at 55. I applauded Reese last year for not drafting into his biggest weakness, “Picking Offensive Lineman". and coming away with what looks like a strong class in 2016.
But I would be disappointed if the O Line was not addressed until the 6th Rd., and a RB was not even drafted.
Not feeling the rest of your mock. Sorry.

That much. Dave pretty much said it throughout the draft discussion. He lists reddick, lamp, Davis, bowser and Willis round 1

That sounds about right, he is undersized. Also, from what
I read in the scouting reports, has trouble shedding blocks.
IIRC, Boley had the same issue, being undersized, I never thought Boley weighed much more than 230 or so myself.
I think Cunningham is getting a bad rap on here and I can't really figure out why. He's got the size the Giants like in a LB and he's a 3 down player. I'm a Gators fan and I do like him better than Jarrad Davis. IMO Cunningham would be ranked right near Rueben Foster if he played with the same talent around him that Davis had. He was literally Vanderbilt's only good player on defense. So teams could game plain against him yet he still was very productive. The main problem everybody has with Cunningham is his missed tackles and I think that's completely overblown. Yes he does miss some, but when he does miss them it's normally on plays outside of the tackles or him trailing from behind. With guys like OV & JPP setting the edge I don't think that will be a problem for him if we drafted him. He's going to be a better NFL player than college player. Also the Giants have a very good track record in the 1st round. So if they do take him I will have no problem with it at all.
I'm sure a lot of people are going to hate on the Kicker in the 5th round, but he's an absolute stud. I think he has potential to be the best Kicker in the NFL and I'm really praying he makes it to your pick in the 5th round. I'd even give up a later round pick in 2018 to move up for him.
Just bored at work. Was hoping to get a good discussion going.
I really like our DBs though. Jackrabbit, DRC, Apple, Hunter, Deayon, Collins, Darian Thompson, Adams, Rahim Moore, Mykkele Thompson, Blake Valentino & Nat Berhe. Collins should continue to improve. Apple, Adams & Darian Thompson are all going into their 2nd year. So I expect improvement from them.
He's 6'5 266 with 35" arms. He showed very good athleticism at the combine. He was overshadowed by Myles Garrett, but he has a ton of potential. Think he fits exactly what the Giants look for in a DE.
55: R2P23 TE EVAN ENGRAM MISSISSIPPI

I like mine better than yours - not as big of a fan of Cunningham and think Cook at 23 is a pretty good value there. I was really surprised/happy to get both Engram and Asiata as well - the offense should be improved with these three additions.
Figured I could wait on defense since the draft is deep and was happy with the players I found late. Also, just felt that we should probably take a kicker although I don't know much about the guy I took - just went with the highest kicker on the board.
Cunningham seems long shot-ish for the Giants to take in the first.

It is doubtful the Giants will touch Cook, based on their
most recent drafts (oh captain, my captain). It really doesn't matter what his perceived value is.

Yeah - he's probably off their board altogether. I think I might take a chance on him though. I'd really like to add offensive weapons - guys who are matchup problems and I think between Cook and Engram teams will have a hard time stopping our 11 personnel package.
Beckham - Marshall - Shepard - Cook - Engram
Asiata helps shore up the interior of the line - giving us a chance to have Pugh compete for the LT position in camp, and allowing us to hold a hard line on his salary demands with his upcoming free agency.
It should be pretty obvious, they will take one within the
first three rounds. It is just an observation.
