Former NYG Markus Kuhn Will Start His Masters

As per his Twitter account, he will not be looking to re-join the league in the fall.

He was just accepted for his Masters at Columbia.

Kuhn was placed on IR by Giants in 2015, and retired earlier this year.

It must have taken something special for someone growing up in Europe to make an nfl team and play in that league for several seasons - even as a backup. Now, he's going to do graduate work in an Ivy League university. Good luck to him.

NFL isn't for everyone. I know a lot of people were dogging him when he played, but he always struck me as a high character guy with smarts.

Just got my MBA from Columbia from there last year - I wonder if he's going the Justin Tuck route and studying business...

Most don't make the team. He competed hard he just wasn't that talented. Best of luck to him at Columbia....not many get accepted to that school!

And played a lot of snaps in a good amount of NFL games. He won't have to pay off any nasty school loans and can tell stories of his NFL tenure. He's set.
