I'd cut him today. Not like he's shown much anyway; treat him like the JAG he looks to be. Gotta be a DE out there that'll sign for a box of donuts, or, minimum and a shot at the 53/46.

Correct, you can't cut for missing OTA but I don't think any reasonable person couldn't think that he was getting cut for performance. He has shown almost nothing in 2 years and we had drafted a defensive end and signed a veteran defensive end prior to him missing OTA's.
I'm not advocating cutting him because he did show enough talent to be drafted in the 3rd round and has been hurt. If his head isn't in the game, I would get rid of him now for fear of him getting 'hurt' in the preseason so he would be eligible for some injury compensation.

But I agree.....he is Deadman walking....and won't be on team.....wasted pick....which I had high hopes at one time.
