Before you ask for him to be called up, understand he will HAVE to be sent down for a short period of time after. So knowing that - are you OK allying him up?
Before answering that though - remember it's been a franchise philosophy to not call up a player until he is ready, and staying...
You just don't know how much of his offense is the high altitude and dry air. In Rosarios favor, he has hit just about as well on the road as at home. But given the small sample size, one hot streak could skew the numbers.
So with Vegas, there is really no way of telling. Plus it is an i exact science anyway. Mets let Turner and Murphy go. They were obviously wrong in both instances. With Rosario in Vegas, any judgment is going to have a higher than normal degree of uncertainty. Given those parameters, bringing him up makes sense if he is indeed safely past the Super Two cutoff
First said he was scratched from his vegas game. Then added that he had an 11:20 flight. And then they quipped about him needing a nap before tomorrow night lol

Nothing officially decided yet.
Plus I don't even think the red eye is at 11:20...

Delta has an 11:30 and United an 11:40. Could be off by a few minutes
This season is emotionally exhausting. Say they somehow someway stay afloat - what the heck do they do with wheeler? I mean if this Harvey thing is serious they are essentially down to a depth chart of 5 starters again, one of which allegedly only has through end of July/early August.
RE: Just two more teams left to catch in the WC standings Â
but the DBacks, and especially the Rockies, are likely overachieving. We just need one of those teams to come back to earth (i.e., play .500 ball the rest of the season) and have the Mets get to 88-92 wins. I think the latter is the harder thing right now.

The hope is, we will be getting a healthy Syndergaard back at that time. You would then have Noah, Jake, Matz, Gsellman, and Lugo. Not a terrible 5 to roll with. They very well might add another vet before the deadline as well if Harvey is in fact injured long term.

if they are still about where they are, let's say 7-12 games out of WC by that time.. do you or don't they keep Noah on the shelf?
Terry broke him yesterday
I wish I was a genius like Sandy so I could understand why Terry is such a good manager
Jeffrey is nostalgic. I do credit Reyes for staying healthy all season.
How these guys continue to get hurt just running to 1st base will always boggle my mind.

Do these people ever stretch and run before a game? Fire Ramirez!
Bring up Cheech or Reynolds.

We are coming for the Gnats!
Big series win.
Nats got crushed today so we got that game back that we lost last night.
Gotta keep rolling. No room for error.
Doesn't sound good.
and then incumbent WC2 Arizona Diamondbacks 41-26.
9.5 games out still from the 2nd WC and 8.5 out from the Nationals

why rush if there's little chance?
