"The Denver Broncos defense will have their hands full with this team. Eli Manning might be getting up their in age, but he is no push over. With Brandon Marshall and Odell Beckham Jr. as the receivers, Aqib Talib and Chris Harris Jr. better be ready.
The Giants defense has some solid players. With players in the front seven and in the secondary that can make plays, it will not be easy for either Trevor Siemian or Paxton Lynch."
Denver Broncos Opponent Preview: New York Giants - (
New Window )
The teams will have begun to form identities by then, specific players will probably standout (and not necessarily the ones everyone would expect), there will be injuries, etc.
Seems kind of pointless to me, but hey.. football talk is football talk I guess.
I am a believer in development though. Flowers & Hart will be better. Our TE position will have blockers. Richburg will be better after going through Bentley's camp this summer. Pugh will hopefully stay healthy. The wildcard is Fluker cause if he ever put it together he has the physical tools to be very very good indeed.
Denver is a tough place to play. I'd love to see the Giants heading there 5-0, with say a 2 game lead in the division possibly. We need a fast start before the road games begin to take their toll.
If we don't come out flat, I think we have the advantage at QB. But then again, it is early so who knows.
This might be worth going to, I haven't had the pleasure of visiting Denver yet.
