NFT: Christie Brinkley is now as old or older as The Golden Girls

the age IS starting to show. I hate this. Maybe it's the fault of society that won't "let" women just age naturally, but I wish older women wouldn't get a ton of work done, then ladle on the make-up and get the fancy do's. Joan Rivers and now Dolly Parton just look horrid to me. Brinkley, as of now, w/ that photo, show's she's going in that direction.

There are plenty of other aging celebrities who have had a plenty of surgeries without the kind of results she's had. Meg Ryan, for instance, is eight years younger and definitely has had a bunch of surgeries, but she looks terrible.

Hair, make-up and clothing are obviously huge factors, especially when you are seeing only a pic. Betty White, for example, was very do-able in her Golden Girls years. Her granny hair and granny clothes were quite deceiving. I was able to get past that.

I could swear I read that. If she did have work done, it is not easily detectable, as with some of the other celebrities mentioned.

I don't get how/why so many women in Hollywood get such bad work done. For example, someone like Meg Ryan was aging just fine and still adorable...until she had her lips injected and some other things.

She's clearly had work done, in the face/cheek area. It's much more subtle than most, and her body (presumably with no work done) still looks tremendous.

When the mom looks better than the adult daughter, you know it must suck for the child.

Any work on her face is very subtle. I still don't see anything glaring. Maybe I read she had no work on her body?

She's had a ton of work done and all of the pics on this thread have been touched up a great deal.

that wasn't from a photo shoot. It was just a photographer who caught her out and about. Her face looked good for her age, but you could see her forearm and hand in the picture, and they looked like 60-year-old body parts.

You can't fight age. I would imagine that if we saw her in person, her age would be more believable.

Again, these pictures have been filtered and touched up.

Anyone with a cell phone can download an app that will smooth out your face, eliminates wrinkles, adjusts your smile and facial features etc with a simple swipe.

Or...it may just be a picture of 3 ~20 year old girls.

the pictures are still touched up. You can clearly see the smoothing/blurring effects in some of them.

Like I said before, Christie Brinkley still looks great for her age. It just astounds me that its 2017 and people still believe these people really look like they do in these photographs. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but Kim Kardashians body looks nothing like it did when she "broke the internet." It's all so fake. And people eat it up.

Yup Joan Rivers is looking pretty bad these days... :X

She's one of the top models today and has a ton of freckles in her shoulders and neck\chest. Although most times when you see a picture of her in an advertisements or swimsuits, all those freckles are airbrushed off.

As for Christie Brinkley, I saw her in person at a work event a few years ago and she still looks stunning in her 60's.

I saw Dolly Parton in concert last summer. I'll say this much: She must have a great surgeon. Or in her words "It costs a lot of money to look this cheap". Based on her appearance and energy I would never guess her age. Its unfair to compare her to Joan Rivers. As for her most famous physical attribute ( actually her most famous two attributes ) I've read that it is impossible for a woman endowed like that and at that age not be be sagging. But she doesn't look a surgically enhanced stripper or Vegas dancer. I'm sure she's had a lift or two and wears a wonder bra but , like Raquel Welsh she must have some good genes and lives well
