NFT: Six Flags NJ advice

MookGiants : 7/15/2017 4:46 pm
that time of year again, taking my nephew and a couple friends as well as my other nephews to a theme park for his birthday and he picked six flags this year.

Last year we went to Dorney and had a great time, but the fast pass 100% saved the day, without it it would have been pretty miserable waiting in lines all day.

I see Six Flags has some type of fast pass thign but its more like a reservation system. We're going next Sunday. Anyone here have experience with the flash pass thing six flags has? How bad are the lines on a sunday? I haven't been there in at least a decade.

Also looks like i have to buy tickets separately for the water park vs the regular park, correct?

Any other advice that anyone has for me is appreciated. I'll be chasing around 5 young kids all day so want to make it as easy as possible ha
Yeah, stop at the Wawa and load up on food there

Thsts a lost cause with this group. I did that last year and they still wanted a ton of food inside. They also know how to manipulate their uncle
You can pre-pay for food

on the Great Adventure website. While I agree that the food in there is over priced and abysmal, you can prepay for pizza or chicken strip meals in both single and family sizes.
Flash pass is expensive, but if you want to hit every major ride

on a Sunday, it's your only option. If you can afford it, do it. Also, Hurricane Harbor is a separate entry from Great Adventure. You'll have to leave GA to get to HH.
Wait till they smarten up on this

You reserve the ride you want when you want it. No waiting.
It will cost you big time however. My sons and I go every father's day. We get on all the rides we want and are done by 2:00pm. IMO its worth the cost if you only go once a year.
