Am I going crazy? On the 3rd home game (1st of the regular season against Detroit) it says Strahan sets the single-game sack record in win vs. Philadelphia. Osi had 6 sacks against the Eagles the first time we played them not Strahan.
Strahan did break LTs nyg all time sack record that same night that Osi sacked mcnabb 35 times back in 2007 but he didn't set any NFL records that night. He set the single season sack record against the pack in 2001, as we all know.
That Osi game was a great game to go to. I was on my couch at close to 7pm when a friend tailgating at the game called me and said cheap scalped tix were available all over the place and to get off my ass. Got a ticket for under 50 bucks and in my seat as the anthem was ending.
Some dude was singing "mcnabb takes it up the ass dooo dahhh doooo dahhh.... all the dooo dahhh day" one of those nights in old Giants stadium. He started singing it after the first sack and didn't stop all night.
Wonder if we'll hear more about it on the day of the home opener.
