Wondering if he can maybe play CF going forward. Hate having Gardner DH and taking away his gold glove from the field, but would much rather have Frazier in the lineup than Ellsbury.

Not sure he is a CF. He looks in limited time to be a decent fielder with a strong arm.
Any line up with Ells is weakened...
The O's are pounding a Tiger's staff that dominated us Tuesday and Wed. As I mentioned the Sox pounded the Indians for 2 days. Judge is completely lost right now. This is 2016 Judge for weeks now.
head is up their ass, but Judge's is. Definition of insanity - doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcoming. Two at bats, two strikeouts on sliders low and out of the zone.

Its really bad. I almost feel that they should get someone to just throw him sliders in BP just so he can reacquaint homself with how they look when they are diving outside. He looks completely lost is right. Samchez too.
RE: RE: The ineptitude of this offense is frightening at this point

and isn't even good defensively. Girardi is a moron.
Kyle, every article, every coach says Romine is a good defensive catcher. I have never seen anything that agrees with what you say. Either come up with something proving your point, or can it. It is getting old. Yeah he's not good at the plate. We get it. Black hole like Ells, Frazier and a few others.
This defense narrative has gotten out of hand. Romine just failed to block a ball because he tried to backhand it. I don't see anybody ranting about how lazy he is.
The team can barely scratch a run across, and we're putting a nothing player who can't hit into the lineup so we can send a message in the middle of a playoff race. It's unacceptable.
Joe's affinity for catchers that remind him of himself (can't hit but try hard) has gotten out of control.

don't tell me to can it. He's thrown out 14% of runners this season (awful). His catchers ERA it was posted the other day is a full run higher than Sanchez's, so the idea that he calls a good game isn't supported. And he's nothing special at blocking pitches, as we just saw.
if I'm harping on this too much. But Sanchez is a big part of this team's present and future. He has certainly struggled at certain aspects defensively this season. But he won't get better sitting on the bench. And the net value of Romine coming in I don't believe is worth benching Sanchez for in a playoff chase.
Didn't even win a game as a starter last year, now...this.
Nit picking, but he needs to be more efficient. maybe stop with "waste" pitches. He's been 0-2 and 1-2 several times and got to 3-2.
He's a weapon on the mound. Would like to see him stay there an inning or two longer.
No question. And if they do have to play the wild card game, he'll almost surely be the top pitcher in that game. Unless the Indians lost the division and were throwing Kluber, something like that.
he's got the stuff to just go right at guys with two strikes. Almost like he's trying to make that perfect swing and miss slider and he's missing a bit. But can't complain otherwise.

Double down the line for Aaron Hicks in his second AB.
This is the same hitting slump that they have been in for about 5 years, except in small doses.

Does anyone coach these guys?
Maybe Joe can teach him a defensive lesson when we are scoring more than 1 or2 a game...

Maybe stopping a few pitches will keep them in a game and prevent prolonged innings.

Happy?
But I'll drop it now.
Come on Chase, we need a hit
4-1
Seriously he came through there. Yanks up 4-1.
T. Frazier struggling but I at least appreciate that he will take his walks. Good AB there, even with a weak call by the ump
:)

All Rise!
