RBI Single for Cooper.

A poke single the other way with 2 outs

Well I'll be dipped in shit. I didn't think it was possible.
JA Happ
section125 : 8/8/2017 7:53 pm : link
is missing his spots badly. Maybe 50% of his pitches are close to where Martin has his glove.
I loathe JA Happ.

Great pitch CC

Thanks CC, you are doing a bang up job.
I really don't like Todd Frazier

I know that was not easy. But I just do think he is a good player.

Toe with

111 mph double by Morales - can't blame Frazier too much the way that was hooking.

It had a wicked hook right before it got to Frazier.

Man do I hate most of the players on this Jays team.
Shit outing from CC.

CC. Just a streaky pitcher. When he's hot he's lights out. Tonight and last week, he was not.

5-1 RailRiders. Stop me if you've heard this one: RBI double by Jake Cave. The RailRiders offense, by Triple-A standards, is relentless.
Clint is swinging his way back to Scranton.

We need Hicks back in top form
Dang Man : 8/8/2017 8:29 pm : link
Frazier is really struggling. I'd rather him work on things getting regular at bats in AAA.

Yeah making it easy to send him down when Hicks is ready. Making Ells look good as the #4 OFer.
BTW, Sanchez

looks completely different blocking balls tonight.
Judge is so fucking lost

Judge just cannot

connect with hittable pitches....

He just has it backwards. Sit dead red on 3-2 count.
In 2 games vs Happ this uear
Stu11 : 8/8/2017 8:51 pm : link
You could count the amount of well struck balks on one hand. Not HRs and doubles...balls simply well struck. Head scratching.
Best chance to get Happ

and Didi flies out.

This offense is horrific.
Damn, now Gardner

section125 : 8/8/2017 9:16 pm : link
Judge better look at his phone. .179 would look pretty good now.
Two belt high FBs for Ks, beside looking at the 1st pitch down the middle and missing the inside one.
Another strikeout for the Judge.
bceagle05 : 8/8/2017 9:16 pm : link
And now we're nearing Osuna territory.

Aaron Judge: 25 straight games with strikeout, longest streak since Chris Carter in 2012-13 (31 games).

But still he bats third. JG doing the team no favors with batting Frazier Judge and Sanchez consecutively.
Two HBP and a walk.

I mean could the Jays trot out a bigger pile of mediocrity tonight

shitty outings the rbi's were all driven in by one guy each game - Didi with 3, Toe with 2, now Cooper with 2.

Sad effin output. Can't win when you best batter can't pull the trigger on mediocre FBs belt high.
Why did my YES network

How the heck
section125 : 8/8/2017 9:49 pm : link
did Frazier turn that?
Osuna owns us.

Another shitty night for the offense. Red Sox on the verge of a shutout win.
Judge and Sanchez
Marty866b : 8/8/2017 10:02 pm : link
If these two don't start hitting this team is toast. Judge looks like last season and that ain't pretty.

CC and the hitting.
CC tweaked his knee, apparently.
Dave in Hoboken : 8/8/2017 10:19 pm : link
Another injury for him..
According to Jack postgame, they had baserunners in 8 of 9 innings,
shockeyisthebest8056 : 8/8/2017 10:28 pm : link
yet only scored twice. Their record when Judge or Gardy homers is tremendous, but without their HRs, this team can't string together any hits at all.

I was shocked Joe let Cooper bat the second time with the bases loaded. He hit a deep sac fly, but I was still very surprised Ells didn't hit there (not that he did anything with his one chance).
sad effort
RasputinPrime : 8/8/2017 10:28 pm : link
CC is likely injured and DL is calling.

Again, Gray better be in the long-term plans because it is going to be a grind to make the playoffs this year. Judge and Sanchez looked banged up or tired.
Gotta move Gary down in the order.
shockeyisthebest8056 : 8/8/2017 10:33 pm : link
Despite Judge's struggles, he's still the most likely to draw a walk on this team simply out of respect for his power. Unfortunately, whoever bats behind him isn't making the opponent pay.
I feel like
bceagle05 : 8/8/2017 11:01 pm : link
there may be one more momentum shift between the Yankees and Red Sox, but we can't be six games out when it happens. They're gonna look to knock us out this weekend - better get our asses in gear.
No problem with the approach tonight
Stu11 : 8/9/2017 12:00 am : link
we got baserunners and drew walks, we just couldn't center enough balls up. Oh well Hopefully tomorrow night we can turn it around. We just have to start hitting better than this. I guess if CC goes on the DL Monty's trip to the minors will be short lived.

I wonder who they will pitch in his place if he can't go. I would guess Monty would be called back up, but they now have him on inning restrictions.
