It was diagnosed as 3rd degree high ankle sprain.

Doctor told me it would have better if I broke it....

he probably won't need an operation unless bone spurs\chips ...but he will miss several games

Sources: results of MRI haven't come back. But if Tyrone Crawford suffered nothing more than lateral ankle sprain, could return for opener.

when you see an ankle roll out like that, you're looking at a low ankle sprain, but in those cases where the ankle rolls in, it's high ankle.
