it seems like many of the times Sanders won it was because of innacuracy by the QB. But it is fun to watch both of them play the route faking/guessing game. Both were really savvy aside from elite athleticism.

but in his case it was true. He didn't have the speed and size of other top nfl wideouts. His success came from hard work and smarts. Deion, on the other hand, was a great athlete.

Of course Rice worked hard, but it's not like he was a slow smurf. He didn't time well, but he sure didn't lack for meaningful athleticism.

His tendency to lionize his achievements by talking endlessly about how they were purely the result of will and hard work gets annoying.
