The team doesn't want Clint's minor injury turn into something that will cost him extensive time, he will be back after 9/1, plus he has struggled a bit (as of late) in both the field and at the plate.
Is there anyone who won't be making a play for Otani? Every single American League franchise should be all-in on him. The question then becomes whether or not he is used on the mound every 5 days and at DH the other 4 days.
but I agree it's a good time for Frazier to take a little break. He gave us a nice lift in July, hopefully he'll give us another nice lift in September.
