I have no idea why I didn't get into this show earlier, but around a year ago I decided to binge watch the series (well, from season 2 on) and it's become easily my #1B comedy to Seinfeld (ultimate #1A).
Yet this show has never received any awards or recognition outside of its rabid cult following (not that they seem to care).
With over a year layoff until the new season, was wondering if there are any BBI IASIP fans, who your favorite chracter is, who your favorite character combo/team is, and your favorite episodes or moments.
Oh well, at least Bojack Horseman comes back in two days, and the NFL tomorrow.
Too many great episodes to name. But speaking of the show never getting any awards recognition, "The Gang Desperately Tries to Win an Award" is a great episode where they respond to that.
Other than Frank who obviously had solidified his career before the show, Charlie has had the most success outside the show.
I think he's kind of one-dimensional though.
Frank and Charlie is an honorable mention beause they are just so goddamn weird together.
I think he's still in the air to come back to Sunny, but Sunny isn't scheduled to come back for a while and Charlie Day thinks that Glenn/Dennis will come back at least for part of the new season (and that's in an interview done over the summer).
If Dennis (or any of the gang) doesn't come back, they should scrap the season. It's not Sunny without them all, even Dee.
- Frank puts bacon bits in his GF's hair so it rains bacon on him when they bang.
- Frank invents a gun that fires liquor into your mouth and they make an commercial about it.

The Mick ended up being pretty funny. I'm glad it's coming back. Mickey's on again off again boyfriend guy is a great character.

Disagree - this past season I loved the water park episode and the episode making fun of shows that use a laugh track.
I don't think it was the most recent season but the health inspector episode was great too.

Didn't mean that in an aggressive way against you - just that I don't agree with the premise that they jumped the shark
The other episodes were ok but nothing super great imo.
