Yep I love this team but its just one of those years. For weeks our SP's were lights out and we had trouble scoring 2 runs. Now they're blowing 5 and 6 run leads.
Pitchers can't hold leads and hitters can't put games out of reach.
They put two games out of reach in Baltimore and three over the weekend against Boston. I think they're playing fine right now, offense is getting hot, just have had two poor starts from CC and Tanaka when they've gotten big leads.
Not to repeat myself too much, but it can't be overstated how bad it is to use Chad Green in an 8 run game, and Caleb Smith and Heller in a 2 run game. Brutal managing

I've noticed this a ton lately Gardy has to run a mile to the line even when big righties are up.
Didn't waste Green yesterday. After Betances screwed that game Tuesday he wasn't taking chances and these guys need work.
