Why even go through the exercise of bringing him. If he needs rest, rest him. i understand we will never know, but I would actually like one of our crack reporters to find out what's wrong with him other than his "ankle."
30 points. If the defense does it's job, there's no reason why we can get 21 points with the personnel we have now. I expect Engram to get a lot of shine tonight.
...several days ago, save for several especially perceptive BBIers.
I don't think I have ever posted "I told you so," but the OBJ is playing crowd, without any evidence that suggest he would, was one of the most annoying BBI crowds I have ever witnessed. They excoriated people for questioning whether he would play and had not one shred of evidence that he would. In fact, all the evidence said the opposite. Moreover, many of the people who were saying he was going to play were the people who always call out others for less than developed or supported arguments. The whole thing was bizarre.
I felt fairly confident all week he would not play

Essex... exactly. And some of these bright lights were also crass and nasty with their remarks. One of the less desirable features of BBI.
I understand the "It's the 1st game of the season get healthy for year" sentiment, but DAM!
Eliot beats hs pregnant girlfriend possibly leading ng to the deaths of Twins and countless other scumbag Cowboys and our best player won't even step on the field!!!!!!
FFFFFFUUUUUUUCCCCCKKKKKKK!
yup..nobrun game, it's going to be really bad because he is their offense
Really? So we're just going to ignore the fact that we added Brandon Marshall, Evan Engram, Rhett Ellison and our RB is in his second year... if OBJ is our entire offense then we have bigger problems than OBJ being out...
That's a good reason why it's not the end of the world - it's not like they were lighting it up with him. Given the Cowboys suspensions and FA losses, and the addition of Engram and Marshall, the subtraction of OBJ shouldn't hurt that much. Not as if we were lighting it up against them offensively with him anyway.
be it on roger godell for letting cameras follow an injured player into the hallway, or on Becks for being a frigging dramatic bitch, that is not the giants way.
since the beginning. Should be used to it by now. All BS all the time. Tiresome .
Why the fuck is that? Should we have just called the Cowboys last week and said 'hey, OBJ isn't going to play, just in case you guys want to finalize your game plan'.
Of the team. The result we saw last night would have been the outcome of many games last year if he was out. With him in the lineup the offense opens up. Hopefully he is back next week
Wait... we still have Victor Cruz, Rashad Jennings, and Larry Donnell?
Posted when I saw Dallas beat writer report it. I wish I was wrong...

Ummm, you do realize it's not up to him, right?
It sucks I'm still pissed at the hit but rather see him
at 100% then limping all season ..
QB Davis Webb
WR Tavarres King
RB Wayne Gallman
LB Keenan Robinson
OL D.J. Fluker
TE Matt LaCosse
WR Odell Beckham Jr.

I wonder who the 3rd WR will be?
But not enjoyable!
Will be tough to grade out the line with the cowboys now able to bring more in the box
Offense is on the play calling tonight

This is definitely the right call with OBJ.
Too bad we won't run for shit. Like last year. Again.

We don t get much info from the Giants. But when we saw the play it looked pretty bad. Many of us, me included felt it could be season ending.
From most accounts it s a high ankle sprain. Everything I ve read and heard about that injury says 4 to 6 weeks and maybe more depending on severity.
This is week 3.
It stinks I really wanted to see Beckham with weapons out there to take some attention off him. Will have to wait.
Was going to be a tough game, this will make it tougher.
I think the performance of this offense with or with out Beckham is dependent on the performance of the "O" line.
That s the one opinion that has tempered some of my optimism for this team.
Hope they prove my concern to be misplaced.

The confidence of a bunch of Browns fans..
I agree 100%!
Uh, more putrid?

side B, if the player probably COULD play (Plex comes to mind) and is being a drama queen about it (terrel owens comes to mind) then GTFO.
And that judgment stands until proven otherwise.
If we go 0-2 BECAUSE we did not have OBJ, then we did not have much of a team in the first place.
This is when you see what your guys are made of. Players, coaches... everyone.

Difference is, Beckham hasn't had a mega contract yet. I wonder if that played any role in his answers to how he felt.
if we have to go without him so be it

Stupid.
But I think Giants win anyway.
