Jerry the jerkoff must be blind or incompetent not to fix this line. It's been awful for years. Doesn't matter how many weapons you have if you can't run or block for shit. Thought this would be common sense but apparently it is to everyone but him
Because a DE runs around behind the QB does not mean you were beat. John Jerry failed to pick up the stunt on the 1st drive.
Hart is going to have problems with wide split speed rushers. And he had trouble with that, but just because the DE runs around and behind the QB does not mean he was beat. Eli was able to step up most times.
There was a shit load of pressure up the middle on most plays and I thought that was the worst protection.
It also helps when your QB (as Prescott did all night) had the ball out quickly, very quickly, something Eli rarely did, but that is a different story.
Anyone who believed that stupid statement by Hart is as delusional as Hart is himself. He is a shitty starting RT. And I don't see the upside that others see. I don't care that he's under 24. I just don't see a quality starting RT.
Jerry is the problem...

At least Hart may have some upside..
Not one scout on earth ever touted Bobby Hart to be starting material . Jerry was washed up when Miami dumped him .
Tell me what made anyone think that Paul Perkins is a #1 tailback with two backups Darkwa oft injured cast off and Shane Vereen who to me his best days are behind them .
You let Hankins walk so you have to spend #2 on a DT ?
the defense was fine even without him . Then you throw a #3 on a QB and a four on a Perkins clone thats even less dynamic ? Then what a DE and a OT that din't show well enough to keep . Hey Webb better be the future thats all I can say . Right now it looks like a crappy draft and a
total miss on the talent with the exception of Engram .
Eli Apple does not look like a #10 pick either ,
Thompson looks lost out there and this is the first game
in two years where Collins looked like a non factor
despite making the first tackle of the game on the kickoff .

Idk man, the speed got by him, but I saw at least 2 plays where the DL just pushed him straight back into Eli. So if he has issues with speed rushers and issues with power guys too, then what's left?
Jerry is horrible too. The combo of those 2 together is pretty bad.
Not sure why anyone in the FO thought trotting out the same 5 guys from last year would work.

I saw one play he tripped, but not pushed back. Again, just because a wide set DE goes running behind the QB doesn't mean it is a pressure.
When you QB stands back there and refuse to take the quick play, you cannot blame the line.
Were they good, no. And a JO like Collinsworth making comments all night long, makes it seem worse than it was.
And BTW, all world Ty Smith was called for a few penalties and got away with a few holds. Difference was Dak got the ball out quickly to what was open.
Bottom line, Dak and Zeke and Beasley and Witten outplayed the Giants.

I also love McAdoo once again deflecting blame off of the OL for the 100th time.
didn't ignore it..just talent evaluation is waaaay off

yeah..on some plays but on consistently as a whole group and individual...nada
they context it to small samples
Hart got beat a shit ton tonight. I mean a ton.
Yes, quite the competition there. They keep pushing themselves to see who is worse...

Dan Duggan Tweet - ( New Window )
Jerry probably stepped on it.

On that we certainly agree...
