Seriously though, I've been rough on Eli but I never thought he didn't still have this kind of performance in him. This game was classic old Eli and it was nice to see. I do have my doubts that he can keep up with this intensity. He had a great game.

Has thrown for 5 TD's, run for 1 TD, and thrown 2 Ints.
He's also thrown for 654 yards, or 327 per game.

I have no idea what his QBR is but it should be high.

He's not the issue.

He's not done and thats clear. He still plays well in spite of horrible offensive line.

Reese should be done. Mac should be done. He was in over his head since last season. These problems go back to last year. He has done nothing special to make you say yeah he can coach.

Eli just doesn't fit this offense. Not sure any QB does except for an Aaron Rodgers.

This is another good example where the blame really lies, GM and coaching staff. They only silver lining in this loss is hopefully one step closer to getting Reese and Mcadoo fired.

I see it this way as well. Honestly, he looks the same as ever to my eyes. I know everyone thinks differently but I think Eli has been amazingly consistent in his career here.

Shame so many of his last seasons are bring wasted.

a fan of eli but you people that defend him are so blind. he has played better these last two games but to not acknowledge that he has been part of the problem is plain biased. the giants organization is too loyal, i think we agree on that. If he’s not done yet he doesn’t have too much time left, and I don’t think even his most ardent supporters would claim Eli is as good as he’s ever been. We have seen some decline. Hes not the problem, but he’s also not the solution at his age for this team long term. If the Giants have a top 5 pick and are in range to strike on a franchise talent at the position it’s a move they have to make without thinking twice. Not doing so would be negligent neglect at the most important position.

For years, many of us have signaled that we want him gone. Nothing happens. He is a cocky putz. And his coach is Handley without the tranny (NYers will understand the latter). We know the jints don't make changes during the season, but if I were either of these guys, I'd be listing my house now. I remember when Bruce Mahar was the best guy on the team. We have much better now, but they are clearly mismanaged. We need a real coach, in the Parcells mold, not a milquetoast with foam in his hair. We need a GM who favors character, intelligence, heart and excellence. Players like Eli.

Third day of the league year, this offseason, he can be cut and the cap hit won't be so bad that it shouldn't be done.

This season needs to be it, for both sides.

Look he's a great giant but not HOF. It's ok. Cowboys and eagles have been better regular season record with about.10+ guys at that position last decade. Is what it is. So proud of all those offensive fumble recoveries in 2011 though. (Look it up)

What do you want Eli to do when the first 2 basic running plays result in a loss of eight yards? How the hell is he supposed to start strong when his first pass is on 3rd and 18?
