Didn't see a thread for today...
So, Crowell has been garbage. I am collecting RB's like no one's business in one of my leagues trying to find a guy I can start every week - I own 7 right now
CJ Anderson (bye)
Joe Mixon
Isiah Crowell
Buck Allen
Chris Thompson (bye)
Wayne Gallman
Jerick McKinnon
As of now, I feel like I have to start Mixon/Crowell this week. It's ugly, but I'm not sure any of these guys are better options although I'm thinking McKinnon may wind up having a good amount of value as I've never been a believer in Lat Murray.
Stick with Crow/Mixon this week, or are any of these other options more appealing? (I don't think they are, but..)
Second...
Pick one flex:
Shepard vs. LAC
Smallwood vs. ARI
Doug Martin vs. NE
Will Fuller vs. KC
Lat Murray @ CHI
Devin Funchess @ DET
I like Fuller for the Flex best of those.

Understood, and certainly a fair point, but its not like your other options are so good.
I definitely think it's a matter of time for him - I thought he'd have produced a bit more than he has so far, but the new OC is clearly focused on getting the ball in his hands a bit more.
Is it a PPR league?
If so I like Buck Allen over one of Mixon or Crowell - flip a coin - both have done very little in fantasy so far. Both can however break out, but I see Allen getting the ball more than both.
and if ppr I like Shepard as your flex. Beckham gets all the attention and Shepard quietly is having the best slot receiver season in the league or close to it.

Yep - PPR.
I just saw Smallwood's status, I don't think I was going to use him regardless, I have better options.
Buck Allen just doesn't get any carries really. For him to have value, the game flow kind of has to favor the Ravens throwing a ton. But he may have a slightly higher floor.
Mixon/Crowell have to find the endzone eventually. I'm hoping this is the week, but who knows.
Oy. I know everyone is high on Gallman, but I wouldn't touch him personally. He's not going to be a bellcow and even if he was, he's limited in this offense. I can see 8 carries for 30 yards for him.
Lacy I guess has potential to get touches, but I think Rawls will get the majority of the touches until he gets hurt.
CJ isn't good, but at least he gets the majority of the snaps. I'd probably start CJ by default.
Jeez, I think I might sadly choose Lacy and hope he finds the endzone. McAdoo is still using the "we'll go with the hot hand" thing so who knows what that means for Gallman and the Cards have been absolutely putrid running the ball.
not sure how any Giants fan can watch Giants games and start Gallman in fantasy football until you see some running room.
Eli has more TD's through 1/4 of the season rushing than all Giants RB's combined.
I'd flip a coin between Lacy and CJ. Probably CJ since he should get the most work.
But on your flex, I think Smallwood (if he plays) has the highest floor. Other guys have a higher ceiling, of course, but I would probably go Smallwood, if he plays. Funchess would be my second choice.
Right now I have it as Chris Johnson because at least his role is defined. If I hear something else about Lacy or Gallman, I might switch it.
I have some Bucs/Pats players on my team and usually hate Thurs night games, but considering the weak defenses in play here, I'm struggling with who to start:
RB: J. Howard, J. White, D. Martin, T. Cohen
WR: Cooks, OBJ, DeSean, JJ Nelson
2 RB/2 WR/1 Flex
I'm thinking:
Howard
Martin
Cooks
OBJ
DeSean
Seem right?

Interesting - I think those were the two guys I was considering least. Haha. But, I think you can make a reasonable case for any of the guys I listed. I'll have to see what the deal with Smallwood's knee is.

The WR's, definitely - no brainer. Jaron Brown might be the non-Fitz guy to own in that WR corps at this point.
The RB's ... I'm not sure. I might consider White or even Cohen over Martin. Trubisky is starting so you figure the Bears will lean pretty heavily on their RB's. I'd also expect White to get a handful of looks.
Martin I just feel like I need to see in action before I deploy him. Short week, first game back - it wouldn't surprise me if he was worked in gradually didn't see his full complement of touches.

This is what I was thinking too but reading other fantasy boards guys are jumping at the opportunity to start Martin, in fairness, most of those posters seem to not have many other options....I originally had White in the lineup with Howard, but going back and forth on it.
realistically he's by a landslide their best option at RB, but Koetter seems like the kind of coach to send a message.
I'd wait and see how he's used before putting him in my lineup. And I also own him in one of my leagues.
I'm currently starting Smallwood over him, but if Smallwood is out it's between Martin and Frank Gore. And I unfortunately would need to make the Martin decision tonight.
Roll a 6 sided die for the second one. Won't matter which one you pick, I'm sure you will choose wrong and you'll get curbstomped by 50 regardless of which one you pick anyway.
Wanted to get a discussion started on lineups for this week. I play in a league on Fanduel. No Thursday game. Have a side bet with my brother in law on a weekly basis, and haven't been doing too well, so I need some help!
Changed my roster for this week a couple of times, but as of now have the following roster (1QB, 2RB, 3WR, TE, K, DEF):
Prescott
Miller (HOU)
Gurley
Nelson (GB)
Diggs
Dez
Engram
Gould
NYJ
Highest O/U this week (not counting Thursday) appears to be the DAL/GB game, so wanted to focus on getting players on both sides of that game. Too much?
Some sleepers/other options I've considered for this week are Will Fuller, TY Hilton, Deshaun Watson, Alex Smith.
Any advice is much appreciated (I think a poster started a discussion like this for week 1, but unless I missed it, haven't seen it since.)
Thanks

What is it you like about Miller? He had a good week last week, but his snap % dropped again (I believe it was 44% this past week). Don't see the value/upside at his price point given the matchup vs KC and his playing time. Think I'd rather go Powell over Miller at that price.
Team 1 receives Jimmy Graham and Donta Foreman
Team 2 receives Buck Allen, Jacquizz Rodgers and Paul Richardson.

I think trade vetoes are the fucking worst.

not a chance I veto that and it would be my last year in a league with douche bags who did veto it (no offense if you are one of the DB's)
Team 1 receives Jimmy Graham and Donta Foreman
Team 2 receives Buck Allen, Jacquizz Rodgers and Paul Richardson.
Why in the world would that trade get vetoed? Vetoing trades is fucking stupid and shouldn't even be an option in leagues.

That's some trifling, meddling owners, and I also would not be in a league that vetoes are up to a league vote.
Trades in good faith should always be accepted. People veto trades because they think "that helps team A too much," or "that team would be too good," or other nonsense. The whole point of trading is to help your team.
The only reason to veto is if collusion is at play. In all my leagues, trades are not subject to a vote. Some people don't like the trades that happen, but a trade between two parties acting for the betterment of their own team (even if one party is, by all accounts, a clear winner), is really none of their business. I would say to them to make their own deal.
Is he not going to get fed Monday night in Chicago?
My 5 keeper league. I have too many QBs...Wilson, Wentz, Luck, and Watson, so I dealt Wentz to a guy for Terrelle Pryor, I also gave him a 7th rounder (2nd round pick after keepers), for a 12th back. Not happy I'll have to drop so many rounds, but I think to get Pryor and unload a QB that was just taking up space, it's worth it. Pryor I think is going to rebound from a bad start.
In that league, I now have the following WR's - OBJ, Diggs, Pryor, Sammy Watkins, and DeVante Parker.
I love that depth, and will be looking to make another trade packaging Luck, one of those receivers, and a RB like Derrick Henry for Zeke Elliott, if I can swing it.

I think the reports being that his ankle is not 100% is scaring some people. I think he's going to be a guy you should play if you were affected by injuries at the RB position.
I think if Bradford plays on Sunday, that will help his value immensely.
I added Murray because he played Cleveland on Gurley's bye week.
I hope you played Engram, which would've been my advice had a seen this. You just don't know with Brady and how the players will be used, but Allen has done diddly squat thus far and the Patriots have given no inclination to get him involved in the offense. On the flip side, Engram has been a steady performer and will continue to be a solid performer with TD sexy upside.

I like how Abdullah is running the ball right now. I know this is late because we are in the 4th quarter of the Patriots-Bucs game.

I think Abdullah, I need to see Murray one time first.
Tony, if OBJ is playing, you play OBJ. All indications are that he's playing. If OBJ is active on game day, he's a set and forget.
Not a monster game and not a ton of touches, but he looked good and scored. He's going to be on the RB2 map every week from here on out - so, that's good for me.
Thankfully, mister Muddy Mudskipper got a very pedestrian start out of Brady in a matchup where I figured he'd be good for 25 easily. So, I'm not really behind the ball in not starting Martin. He'll be in my lineup next week.
I'm definitely regretting trading Martin in my other league, though. Bah.

Yeah I was expecting about 35+ from Brady. Going to need Houston to shut down KC this week and the Giants to shut down LAC. Lot of interesting teammate pairs going on in our matchup too... Bell vs Brown, PRich vs Baldwin, Marshall vs Shepard
