I've got Jordan Reed as my main TE and he's on a bye. Trying to trade for Evan Engram.
Would you trade Tarik Cohen for Engram?
He's also offered me J. Allen/Engram for Cohen/Crowder.
I've got Lev Bell, latavious Murray and J Stewart as my other backs so I'm not exactly strong at the position.
That thought also occurred to me, but from a FF perspective, this year Hunter Henry has been terrible against football teams.
I would not trade Cohen for Engram. Cohen in PPR has a lot of good fantasy days ahead, and so does Engram, but in terms of scarcity, and with the injuries to RB's thus far, you can always find a usable TE for your bye week on free agency. I would even go with Zach Miller in a pinch and hang on to Cohen.
5 keeper league. I will not be interested in keeping him for next year. I don't need him when he gets healthy (have Wilson and Watson), but I also don't want to let him go to my opponents and get nothing in return. Right now I have a roster squeeze. I need a kicker as I dropped mine to make a waiver play, and I need all the points I can get. I cannot afford to leave points on the table this week.
I am really deep at receiver: OBJ, Devante Parker, Stephon Diggs, Terrelle Pryor, and Sammy Watkins. But RB depth is a concern - Howard, Joe Mixon, Derrick Henry, Wendell Smallwood (Cook in my IR spot, really hurt).
I was hoping to put together a trade of Luck, Diggs, and Henry or Smallwood to a team needing overall talent, for a Jay Ajayi-type RB or better. No one seems interested.
At this point, I may have to trade him for draft pick consideration, and just add someone I can drop. There is a team or two in my league that has absolutely no depth at RB, and will struggle to put together a healthy lineup, and yet Latavius Murray was added today via free agency. Crazy. I almost dropped Smallwood for him but I didn't. Standard scoring.
What would you do? Just drop Luck?
I think the Packers should play it smart and sit Monty, but if he plays I strongly feel he will be severely limited. I expect Gallman to at least get a lot more opportunity, and has a better chance to get to at least 10 fantasy points.
Absolutely not.
A lot of risk here, as DJ could be key in a playoff stretch. Or a literal non-factor. Hilton has some favorable match ups coming up on the calendar as well, and it appears Luck is on his way back soon. Thoughts?

McKissic vs Rams (Prosise doubtful)

Do that trade for Hopkins. I would definitely do the trade for Jordy, Hopkins, OBJ, or Brown. That's the list. DJ could be back sooner than anyone thinks. I just traded for him and some smaller pieces and gave up Green and it felt like robbery.
Anderson is on a bye and I am starting Miller. For the second RB slot, should I go with Frank Gore, Wayne Gallman or Jonathan Stewart this weekend? I am leaning to Gore but any suggestions appreciated.
Just bought Jay Ajayi for Sammy Watkins and Wendell Smallwood.
Still have Diggs, Pryor, Devante Parker, and OBJ, and now do not need to ship Andrew Luck, and can pick up a kicker. I can now wait until Luck's value has bounced back, and ship him out for something useful or a pick next year.
Stoked.
I was able to do this deal I'm sure because the slow start to the season for Ajayi. But if you guys can pull up some videos of him, he is running really well. I think if you can buy low on him right now, do it. That said, I know Ajayi struggles with consistency, but I needed a replacement for losing Dalvin Cook, and I now have him, and another great thing about it is no bye week shuffle with him, with the Dolphins taking their bye week 1 due to Irma. Now after Ajayi puts together another couple of big games, I may take a run at Gurley, Bell or Elliott. Perhaps I could even trade Luck for David Johnson to stash.
I know Hue is still talking about getting Crow the ball more but Duke is the clear pass game RB so Crowell has become extremely TD dependent and he's not scoring them.
Perkins out, you figure Gallman is going to get every opportunity to prove himself against a pretty bad LA run defense. Should catch a few passes out of the backfield as well. I feel like I can get 10-12 points out of him. I can't afford another 3-4 point egg from Crowell.

I wouldn't, but I also am too conservative to take the chance and start Doug martin and he had a good game.
I see Gallman with a 7 carries for 8 yards line, but that's only slightly worse than Crowell has been so it's not like you have much to lose.

Bump
I think Gallman will at least be sort of involved in the pass game and could catch 3-4 passes which will raise his floor a little. Crowell is basically completely uninvolved in the pass game there and they fall behind early most weeks which takes him almost entirely out of the equation. Then again, they do play the Jets this week...

Engram is definitely the safest. If Prosise is out, McKissic is tempting but I still feel like that backfield has way too many moving parts and is too hard to predict.

Fuller might have the most upside especially if Peters is on Hopkins.
Engram probably has the highest floor. He's going to catch 5 passes for 50 yards (probably) and McKissic is IMO at best a 3rd down back.
I'd probably roll the dice and start Fuller.
Ben has been pretty bad lately.
Watson has a tough matchup vs KC, and he's a rookie.
Also, in ppr would anyone start Cohen over Mixon (I already have Howard in the lineup so I'm hesitant).

I'm also thinking about starting Watson.. over Rivers, though. Rivers has been mostly good fantasy-wise this year. One awful week, 3 solid/good.
I just love Watson's upside and am tempted to start him. His matchup is a bit tougher, but.. his ability to run adds some appeal.
I would also start Cohen over Mixon in a PPR league. Mixon is getting more touches but the Bengals just don't block well up front and he's not doing much with the volume.
Cohen/Howard is one of the few RB pairs I think you can get away with starting together. Freeman/Coleman being another.
I have Brees on BYE and picked up Dalton but I'm warming up to Bradford who's in line to play Monday. Too risky?
I don't own Bradford in any league so I haven't paid close attention to how likely he is to play on Monday, but if his availability isn't up in the air or in doubt, I think it could be a good play.
Forte was dropped and I haven't done my homework on him other than he's old and time to hang it up...Powell will fill that role...nothing to be gained there.
Here's my roster:
QB: Mariota, Rivers
RB: T. Gurley, J. Howard, R. Kelley, W. Gallman, A. Collins, D. Foreman
WR: Hopkins, Crabtree, Cobb, Hogan
TE: Engram, Doyle
D: PIT
K: Prater
