Looking Forward

The Giants should trade Eli to a contending team.

This is only fair to Eli and can benefit the Giants.
See if the Giants can get some draft picks and start Webb.

The Giants need to know if Webb is the answer.

The Giants then must clean house, starting from the top down.
The Mara's have to get out of the way and bring in someone to overhaul the organization.

lack of success....you'd have a hard time getting a 5th or 6th.
And besides none of those things will happen. Giants are about family and status quo.
The org. is the new Browns. Again.
Took 20 years of football hell and almost another 10 more to clean my palate of that taste.
And I'm OLD. Don't have that much time for deja vu.....all over again;-).

What they should do is trade Eli and JPP to Jacksonville for a top draft pick or 2. JPP is abysmal and an anchor around our neck salary cap wise. Only way to get someone to take him would be something like this trade with Jacksonville . They can afford the cap space hit for a year or 2. With Eli they could be a serious contender . Reunite him with Coughlin. We can all root for Jacksonville. Why not at this point? But seriously, why not? Oh , and Reese is epically horrible. As usual, the trying to rebuild through free agency fails miserably. Defense? Oh boy
TC to the Jags isn't like Carmen Policy to the Browns.

Jacksonville is not going to take our financial albatrosses off our hands for a pittance.
Eli is going to retire a Giant

if a team is contending, they don’t need Eli anyway.
Fuck Davis Webb

I don't give two shits about the next Ryan Nassib getting undeserved PT. He has shown absolutely nothing other than the fact that he's starting to get the hang of this center-QB exchange thang. Will he be viable next year or the year after? Possibly, but he's not that guy now. Nothing announces to the team more that you're coasting to 0-16 than benching the uninjured, best QB in franchise history.

With the trajectory we're on, Webb isn't going to matter one iota with a new GM and head coach and a high draft pick.
