Are WRs That Play For the Giants Cursed?

eclipz928 : 10/8/2017 7:48 pm
We'll wait and see what the severity and type of recovery that will be required for Beckham's injury is, but it doesn't sound very good so far. But it seems like every promising young wide receiver that the Giants have had though the Eli era has seem to have had some injury either slow down or cut short their path towards a potentially great career. Nicks, Smith, Manningham, Cruz, now maybe Beckham (knock on wood). It's crazy, and has to be absolutely frustrating for Eli.
No. McAdoo fixed the injury problems

NOT!

I've never seen a team that had the top three receivers injured at the same time like this before. I thought Vernon being out with an injury was bad enough.
No they're

Just undersized and fragile. Our GM picks the scraps.
In regards to today's fiasco

someone needs to take a serious look at the shoes the receivers were wearing - odd coincidence that all injuries were ankle/foot related. On a wet field, I'd question whether they had appropriate sized spikes and shoes with proper ankle support.
Front Office put the O-line out there. They stink putting too much

pressure on Eli who puts too much pressure on the WRs. Who are now getting hurt because he has not time to be accurate and they are trying to make plays.

this formula stinks...
If Eli keeps throwing high passes he will continue to get wr's

injured. His high passes put wr's and TE's in vulnerable, dangerous positions.

For fuck sake. Ankle support? What like something other than taping up?

You don't rely on cleats for ankle support.

I can't anymore.

Some cleats are low cut below the ankles, and some come higher and cover them for added support - I'd be amazed if you really were completely unaware of this.
Fuck it!

From now on, everybody plays barefoot!

Eli is not a curse.
WideRight : 10/9/2017 8:42 am : link
He just thows some passes too high and gets WRs killed.

From an economic perspective Eli is by far the most expensive player in the NFL. His salary is huge and his play costs the team millions in injury and losses.

And ironically, he never gets hurt, so the expense is never-ending.

The high cleats don't do shit. Stop it.
Yeah, different shoes would've prevented Beckham's injury...

Pretty clear you've never played a sport - not sure why you're still commenting on this.
