did zero last year as a returner. Has always been near useless as a WR. Yeah he's a decent gunner I guess but we already carry a PK, punter and LS who contribute nothing else, don't need another guy like that and even after the pay cut he was overpaid.
I know that all the injuries aren't foot or ankle, and I know other teams get those injuries too, but it seems as if the Giants' consistently get a disproportionate number of them. And this has been going on for years. Today's game is just a more tragic example of it. Shoes? Training? How they're getting wrapped?
This is far too common here for it to be just coincidence.
Not shoe related. Marshall looked like he came down wrong on the foot, not shoe related. DRC always come up limping on plays. I don’t know if his legs are just taking a beating after so many years. Ehhh
Auditions will start tomorrow for a new returner. One who doesn't cost an arm and a leg
. His $3.3 million against the cap is hardly an arm and a leg when he is a great gunner on kickoff and punt coverage, a pr/kr and a back up WR. Lots of value. That said he is a year older and now has a foot injury so I agree he’s done

Should be called up to the team first thing tmr. He will be our punt returner too.
Rudolph sucked at returning in the preseason. Vereen is the returner. Rudolph maybe good as receiver depth, but Eagan is the only returner I trust from the PS.

Eagan was good on his pre-season returns. Rudolph has very good hands and I think he will do pretty well as a slot receiver.
OBJ
Wait....

par for the course this season...

..if he wasn't tripped up on that last play when he got hurt he most likely would've returned that for a TD. Only had one man left to beat

Yeah. Even if he did break that for a TD there would've been a flag thrown taking it back on something ticky tack. Its just one of those years
didn't he make the Pro-Bowl last year?

It's not like we needed points or anything...
