under the radar poor decision by McAdoo yesterday

Andy in Boston : 10/9/2017 11:12 am
He should have kept Pugh at RT.

Giving Hart his spot back makes no sense, when looking at who he had to face....Ingram and Bosa are 2 of the top pass rushers in the league.

Pugh was solid at RT the last 2 weeks and Giants didn't give up a sack.

Who would have played LG?
With Richburg down and Jerry going down and Jones playing Center....it would have been less riskier have Halapio play LG, then having Hart go back to RT in my opinion.

McAdoo is taking heat on alot of other decisions, but I think this one was the most critical.
Dumb move.
Was thinking same thing

Eli looked comfortable in the pocked with Pugh at RT the past two weeks.

I would've put Wheeler in at RT before Hart if you needed Pugh at LG and didn't want to go with Halapio there.
hard to argue

.
for whatever reason

he's not taking alot of heat in the press for this...and he should be. He's taking more heat about Darkwa not getting the reps.

I also thought not giving our kicker a shot at a 55 yarder was a mistake. The kid has a boom for a leg...let him use it!
and regarding Hart
Andy in Boston : 10/9/2017 11:18 am : link
he hadn't played in 3 weeks and you throw him up against those pass rushers! I mean cmon!
Under the radar idiocy

Was him going for 2 points instead of making it a 6 pt game. He's an idiot

For a team that can't score points, he leaves lots of points on the field. Have to take that FG and if not confident that your kicker can make a 55 yarder, you need a new kicker.
agree about Hart

he was responsible for the sack fumble on the last drive, pushed his guy right into manning. Just mindless.
but hopefully some of you guys now see

why some of us wanted a guard or tackle with great guard upside in round 1.

None of these decisions should be seen in a vacuum.
I gave McAdoo a lot of credit last year for game management

I thought he did a great job in 2016 of punting at the right times, kicking FGs at the right times, and going for it on 4th down at the right times. It was a big reason the Giants won so many close games (many of which ended with the opposing offense simply running out of time at the end).

He hasn't done a good job this year in that same area, clearly.
"you dont lose your job due to inury"

a long held TC philosophy.

Left 4 points on the board yesterday.

What was the final score again?

Kicker was absolutely BRICKING kicks in warm up. He actually missed wide-left so badly on one that missed the net completely by almost a full section.
Hart

is an embarrassment. He said he was the best RT in football, he might be the worst.
I think Solari has a say in Oline personnel
Simms11 : 10/9/2017 2:10 pm : link
usage and decisions with Mac as the final say. Maybe it was Solari that wanted to give Hart his starting job back? They say a stater doesn’t lose his job to injury, but if it’s not broke, then why try to fix it?
Absolutely one of the worst moves
GiantTuff1 : 10/9/2017 2:14 pm : link
I screamed at the TV when I saw Hart at RT... Like Jesus Chris... the line was proving somewhat functional with Pugh at RT...

Keep Pugh at tackle, and Fluker at LG or RG, Jerry at whichever spot Fluker is not.
Good post

Dude is in over his head
Not only was it a poor decision to start
Mighty : 10/9/2017 3:31 pm : link
Hart again but it was a poor decision to keep him there after he was a turnstile from the opening snap. Which probably means they did not even have a backup plan during the week to have some options in case he struggled. A poor tackle coming three weeks of not playing what could go wrong???

I dont think Elis arm talent has fallen off much but his mental clock definitely has. If he is not comfortable he rushes his throws which is causing more inaccuracy. He has never been the most accurate of QBs in the first place.

So from the beginning the coaching took us two steps back from the improvement the OL and offense has made over the past two weeks. Im ready for a total house cleaning.
