Who starts opposite Roger Lewis against Denver?

AcidTest : 10/9/2017 7:07 pm
I assume King, but regardless, Rudolph will likely get a lot of work since we can only dress three WRs.
Depends...

Engram...move him to the outside

I suppose it's either Rudolph or King...

McAdoo said in today's presser that these guys are a great place to start.

Having said that, I'm probably going to lose it if we open in 11 personnel, with Lewis, Rudolph and King on the field, LaCosse inactive and Ellison/Adams on the bench.

I'd like us to be in 13 personnel as we should be putting our best playmakers on the field. I'd like to think that McAdoo and Sully can put together a game plan that focuses on utilizing the strengths of the remaining healthy players, instead of looking for healthy players to force a game plan.

By the way, Denver's pass rush and run defense looks good (again). What personnel do you think could best help us counter that? Might make an interesting discussion later this week.

Who said he needs to learn? Reuben Randle didn't learn them for years!

He should start. He is the best athlete the Giants have on that side of the ball and fastest and smoothest runner. Have him learn a handful of routes and lets see what he can do. Or we can just not throw to him at all like our last game.
I’m gonna watch from under the covers

I hope you're right but I haven't seen many signs McAdoo will stray from him trying to force his game plan instead of finding a game plan that plays to his players strengths.

Slants. He's got to learn to run Slants. Our route tree doesn't go much further than that.
Shepard could play.

This game can get ugly with Denver's D.

If it is out of hand, I would pull Eli in the second half.
Who says we are only going dress 3 WRs?
yalebowl : 10/9/2017 10:53 pm : link
Marshall is going on injured reserve. That's one more WR to be activated or signed (Eagan and/or Cruz).

Shephard opens up another spot if he goes on the Injured Reserve list that can be reactivated.
They should just play TES and 1 WR

As the base set. Why not put Engram and Ellison and Cook out there. Use Gallman and Lewis. Pray you can run the ball. Pray very hard...
I don't think this game

is going to be as ugly as many think. You see it every year in the NFL. I know folks will kill me for this post--but it's a gut feeling. I think it's good money on us at least covering the spread and maybe even winning it.
