Just kidding...every game was a must game after the Detroit loss....
I was of the opinion, that, it's not over until that 8th loss....but with what we will be trotting out there, at WR's this week, it looks like the season is over before Halloween...
This game could get ugly, very quickly......the Denver defense will be throwing stunts at the OL, all over the place.....god forbid they decide to blitz us....their DB's will be jumping the short routes....
As for Denver, Siemian is not that good....however, if this Giant defense does not bring pressure, we will make him look more like the Denver GM, than Siemian....he has two good runners....and the RB's and TE's can't be covered by our linebackers.....look for them to exploit Apple with Sanders/Fowler.....
No OBj? We saw what our offense looked like in Minny and the beginning of the year, without him.....Can you imagine two guys off the street, possibly being our receivers? Hard to believe, Denver is "only" giving 12 points.....
And yet, this is the kind of game, that the Giants somehow, play great games in.....in fact, I think it might be close for awhile, but then, like they have done all season, they will be their own worst enemy.....it will either be, one of the great upsets of all time, or another Monday Night disaster, in front of a national audience, again....
But at 0-6 a few years back I was still hoping for meaningful games and got one in game 12.

2nd down: run up the middle.
3rd down: run up the middle.
4th down: punt.
Need a big game from the punter.
And we need to get turnovers to win, esp a turnover for a score.
If we try to run our predictable slants, we are going to really get killed....I can see Denver ready for that with their pass defense.

The Giants going 0-6 back in 2013 set up the Giants for the most unrealistic 7-9 finish ever because of all the backup QBs they faced in a row to suddenly find themselves with a semi-meaningful game. That team should have been 3-13. The injuries this year and all around poor/ inconsistent play will fulfill the missed "promise" of 2013. Denver is going to be a shitshow.
I don't want to see MacAdoo near the stadium after the last game, Reese either. Flowers over Gurley is enough to be pissed at.
This reminds me exactly how I felt about the Giants during the Handley era.
Honestly, what's your fucking problem? You never struck me as an asshole. But the constant childish bullshit when it comes to Eli is becoming ridiculous. Give it a rest.

it will be close for a half - the giants D and special teams will keep them in the game (wing will enjoy the thin air of mile high). 10-3 broncos at the half....but then the wheels will come off in the second half as the defense is gassed from being on the field, Senor Shoulder Shrug will throw a pick six or give up a fumble and the final score will be something like 31-3.

Excited about a top 5 pick and a shot at one of those quarterbacks.

I would be more excited to trade down. Taking a franchise QB would make more sense to me in a couple of years. If they draft one this year, they should trade Manning. Otherwise, either their current franchise QB will get bumped prematurely or they have a #1 pick sitting for his entire rookie contract, which just doesn't happen anymore.
How old do you think Eli is? Giants fans are bloody delusional about how long this guy is going to play.
A few hours ago, I went into my fantasy team I realized I had the Denver defense going next week. I realized they might win the game for me all by themselves.

why are you so angry? maybe you should take up yoga or meditation.
No anger here bud. Just tired of reading horseshit.
When people say that Giants fans are classier and smarter than other fan bases, you just need to come to BBI and read posts like this to know that that isn't true.

You're exactly right, and I forgot about all the backup QBs...because that Giants team was extremely woeful. In fact, worse than the team we have seen so far this year (minus our current injuries).
That was a three/four win team at most.
This team might win only two games, but should be better.
What's that say?
Coaching.
As a side note, anyone who was at that Dallas game, remember how cold it was? I thought I was going to die when the wind gust blew through the parking lot during pre-game tailgate.
Probably the coldest Giants game I've ever been and it was only mid-November.
Polar Vortex.
Better to lose Eli prematurely like the Colts did with Peyton, and get Andrew Luck when you can.
Besides if Eli is still there, the kid could sit for a year.

The talent at QB in this draft is up there with only 04 and '83 being more impressive to my knowledge at least. It is exceedingly rare to pick so high in the draft and it happens to coincide with an opportunity to nail down our future at qb while having him step in with pretty decent talent to surround him with next year. Get in the top 3. Pick your guy. Draft and sogn OL. Trading out of a top 4 spot only makes sense if you already have your qb locked up for 10+ years.

Or the opportunity to gain multiple first round pick assets.. You really only ever get a kings ransom if a franchise QB is available at your pick.. Not advocating that just agreeing that its a good year for getting a top 3 pick.

NAH!!!
RUN Left, lose 3 yards
RUN right, lose 4 yards
RUN left, lose 6 yards
Punt into the middle of the field, let our vaunted ST give up big returns
Watch our D in meltdown
Repeat. Just reverse sequence of direction.
Von Miller destroys Hart, who goes on IR with an ankle injury...maybe even JJ.
Once Denver leads by 28, bring in Geno.
I laughed.
