It would be worse if the team is 5-0? No. That would mean that the defense is playing well and the offensive line improved. They would be able to overcome it.
Losing their WRs is bad because the offensive line still stinks and the defense won't be able to bail them out.
.. it's all we got but it's a fair point. Bad record or not this is just looking like one of those years where the NFL gods have something against the ny Giants. I'd rather they lose like this. Slugging along with a 7-8 win season and breaking our hearts along the way is brutal. If they were 3-2 and just lost all these guys for the season we'd be cooked.
We were 6-2 but lost half the team to injury against Houston I think it was and it took an incredible tiki barber week 17 game to sneak into the playoffs at 9-7 I think it was.
There might be more angst over the injuries but it certain wouldn't be
There will be little to no difference going forward with the offensive production of the guys replacing the injured. All these WR's and RB's at this level are all interchangeable. The difference of good and bad starts at the offensive line. Watch and see. This so call generational receivers production will be easily replaced.

It's easier to handle these injuries when our team is out of contention. If we were in first at 5-0 and had these injuries I would be very upset. The losses def make it easier to swallow
I have this fear as a Warriors fan: them being 32-4 and then losing Curry and Klay Thompson for the year.

Glad to see that humor survives even these uncommon depths of dispare.... 🤐
