How many guys didnt get back from the BYE in time?
This team doesnt have the feel of a good fight in it. I was looking at the schedule earlier and I'm confident this time wins no more than 4 games.
I think the only games they CAN win are SF, Arz and maybe Washington once or perhaps Philly if they have everything wrapped up by the time they play us.
I'll find out after the game. I'm gonna take my kid and my 92 year old grandfather to go see Thor Sunday afternoon. Better to spend time with them than to watch this team implode on a weekly basis.
Lots of things to look at. How will the team respond to the adversity on both sides of the ball.
Will the offense shed it's predictability and come out throwing. Will the defense regain it's form. Is there really some dissension in the unit?
Giant games always provide some drama.
While everyone gets worked up over what pizza Snacks eats or how patriotic the place kicker is, the truth is NFL football as a product is suffering massively.
The result is the outcome of each game is practically a random, disconnected event. By all logic, the Giants should get destroyed against the Rams. The Rams should have no problem beating the Giants.
Instead, we're almost as likely to see a Giants victory as we are a loss. It could be a close win, a trouncing, a surprising last second loss, etc. - any of these have almost an equal chance of occurring.
The only thing we are guaranteed of - the results will have little to do with the Giants fortunes this season.

Hiking in Wayawyanda.... Why waste a beautiful Sunday afternoon on these clowns?
RE: The NFL has become a big steaming pile of shit, quality-wise Â

I view the league the same way now. Which makes the Giants futility even more sad.
The Giants are a bad football team, have been for some time now. They are going to lose Sunday.
It does, simply because the rest of the league is on Â
Until I saw the injury list. Disappointing that after a bye week, the list is still so long. Wasn’t the new strength coach supposed to fix the problem? Still, they’re playing at home & I expect a big effort & for the Giants to win a close game. Shepard will make a big difference. Pugh would have helped
+1.
Eli wins if he survives, regardless of the score.
I just don't see G-men winning unless its with the D.
I wonder if the Rams would take Jackrabbit back this offseason?
had their way against a Cardinals porous offensive line and immobile quarterback who had receiving weapons in London once it was apparent they would not be able to run the ball against them.
The game will be close for maybe a half. But then the Rams will pull away, force the Giants into throwing every down because they can't run it, and the game will disintegrate.

He will of course survive the game. It is one of the reasons he is always available to play, and also one of the reasons we don't want him much longer.

DVR the game and actually enjoy it when you watch later. No commercials no filler no BS. I love watching games on DVR, especially the night games.
I don't think the quality of play is as bad as some here do Â
Matter of fact I think the quality of play is better than it was in the 70s. What I do think has impacted things badly is the Thursday night games and the background noise with all this protesting crap. Plus the media saturation hasn't helped. The game isn't that bad it's just that the Giants are that bad. When two good teams square off the game is just fine. When a bad team is involved the game sucks. That's just how it's always been.
Add more practice time. Lose the Thursday night crap and things will be just fine.

Gonna be a long 9 weeks.

Granted, it was so close it was funny on a few occasions, but still.
Does playing at home count with this team ?
I will go with the Rams to cover .....
