Is his injury more serious then they’ve led us to believe? IR possible? Munson replacement? Just seems like they need bodies to make it through this season maybe? Any thoughts on these or otherwise?
Has to be one of the worst in the league. I was optimistic this year was an upgrade with Goodson and Munson but the injury bug has really hurt this unit.
The next F.O. should easily be able to improve this unit.
who's out there????? They have signed a couple of young kids so that well is dried up and they need someone who knows the defense to play right now. No one else could come in and know the schemes.

The have to. No LBers of note under contract next year, with exception of Goodson if you consider him a talent.
Who we have under contract for next year at LB:
Ishaq Williams
Nigel Harris
BJ Goodson
Calvin Munson
Curtis Grant
We also can retain Cap Capi since he is an ERFA next year if we want.
That's it.
UFA next year at LB:
Casillas
Robinson
Kennard
Thomas
Herzlich
We're going to be rebuilding LB and OL. Not sure which position is more dire right now - but I'm thinking it's LB. At least at OL without signing anyone but our own ERFA we could have Flowers/Halapio/Jones/Jerry/Hart.
One of my favorite average players of recent vintage . Should restore some positive energy in the locker room . Good effort, tough guy. Made more than his share of stops on third and shorts last season .
Overall this group is depressing . I don't know what the hell happened to Kennard and the more I watched Goodsen , the less I liked him. Grant and Munson are prayer shots .
The knowledgable football guys around here (Sy'56 for one), have reminded us more than a few times in 2017 that you need the two DTs and the MLB in this type of 4-3 to play physical against the run.
Retro boils it down to its essence; Goodson's overall body of work has just been just okay when he's healthy, and the other guys are fringe players.
At some point the young guys have gotten enough reps to show you what they (are or) aren't, and you have to give the coaches the option to get out of young-guy-rep mode and put a proven player in a key spot.

At LB? Grant/Goodson/Munson?
I can not believe how woeful the Giants have become under Reese and Ross and McAdoo.

IR. Saw him on the sideline on Sunday though.
