Wed Injury Report: No wonder Giants signed 2 linebackers

they got hurt avoiding making tackles, especially our MLB when he dropped back before the snap about 20 yards and whiffed on that 3rd and 33 .
The others were almost as good.

Been shouting that for a couple of years, including yesterday.

3-4 base is in order. JPP is really now a LDE or RDE in a 3-4 scheme. Harrison to NT and Bromley to LDE. MOve OV to OLB (have him shed a few pounds), Kennard to OLB, Goodson if he can ever stay healthy at one inside spot and who knows in the other right now.

We need a TRUE FS with range and coverage skills. Collins would be much better within a 3-4 scheme as he can be protected deep and BIGGER LB's dropping into coverage over vthe middle negates him coming up and playing TE's off the line as much.

The BS of we can't switch to a 4-3 because of lacking the players is over. it is time to make the switch.

a 4-3 is what I meant in the last sentence.

We are stuck with JPP for 2 more years. He stinks as a 4-3 end. Maybe he will be ok in a 3-4. Plus, a good GM will have an easier time finding linebackers than 2 way DE's. We are in trouble if Vernon and JPP are our top 2 ends next year.

We can't find one decent linebacker and you want to try and find 4

I don’t we really have the personnel, but who know’s maybe the next HC and DC will try it.

Could make Tomlinson the other DE opposite JPP. Vernon and Kennard as OLB.
