so why does Boston get saddled with all the vagrants classlessness just because they currently reside there.
It's like blaming NY for Carton or Don Imus or the littany of other shady radio/media people from NY.
Felger is a douche bag and his commentary was classless but no reason to take a pot shot at Boston which is really irrelevant to this story.

Felger has really been losing it the last year or so.
His perspective and 'logic' have been, a, bizarre, more frequently each week.
If it's an identity or ratings thing, it's failing.
If it's a real mental health issue, he needs help, post haste.

I will say though, living in Boston metro area and raising my family here, and spending as much time in NYC as I do and have, I love both cities.
however I have really grown to realize, Boston (real Boston, not suburban Boston where I live - but Southie, revere, Dorchester, Lynn, etc.) doesn't give a shit who like them or not. They almost embrace the hate.
Back to Felger, he's a douche and his comments were awful. He's always had a superior mentality and I never listen to him anymore.

Your 10:23 post doesn't exactly come across as criticizing him, either now does it? "The humanity!". It's just funny that you chose to call Greg narrow minded while making excuses for the clown in the article.

I suppose its not a big deal, but making jokes and calling out Halladay on this is a) ridiculous (a guy is more likely to die driving down the highway than the way he did) and b) tasteless. Radio douche deserves the criticism coming his way.

Maybe not a big deal to you or me because we didn't know Halladay personally. But there are a lot of people in Halladays life that would probably disagree with you. I'm sure the first thing that his wife and children thought about when they heard this rant was "hey, that's a Will Ferrell reference!".
