Flowers is trying God-damn hard . It's defense that is jaking it . First play from scrimmage Vernon gets great early penetration on Hyde, that imbecile JPP loses his fit and allows the back to reverse field . Sets the tone.

played hard. Offense in general plays hard, but lacks talent. If the defense gave the same effort it would be a different season.

about Flowers. His effort was never questioned. And he's getting better. Much better. I still think his best position is RT or G, but his improvement at LT is undeniable.

That's the killer. This team overall lacks heart, discipline, and competitive spirit. Certainly some players give 110% but the majority don't. The majority have folded, they have quit on themselves and each other. And they need to be called out for it.

And I'll tell you what all you OBJ haters. That guy never quit he just played harder. Not in his dna to quit. He wants to be great and he wants to win.

And all you Eli doubters. No quit in that aging qb either. He's no Jay Cutler, never could be. He's a competitor.

No quit in Darkwa, the journeyman running back who has a metal rod in his leg.

Snacks doesn't quit, he puts everything into every snap.

I'll take a lightning rod wr, aging qb, and trash heap rb so long as they play every down hard! Next year a new coach and hopefully new GM will purge the quitters and find players who care about winning and have pride.

And of course Engram. Shepard would have had the break out year this season if not for the injury to him and the rest of the group. He's getting open quite frequently and looks better at getting yac. He's definitely part of solution going forward.

Maybe that's why LC mentions Mc being coach next year,and supported him previously... But no comments on Spags( who I think has been guessing more defenses than planning them in game).
