I think that down the road we will find out about a Spags/Mac feud that some of the defense has decided to act out over. Stupid, childish, unprofessional, but purposeful. I have absolutely no evidence of this other than what I see. But it does look like a coordinated "strike" of sorts by the secondary at the minimum.
I am not sure before today that I actually saw a team " Not Trying ".
Part of is truly hoping they weren't trying because if they were, we are equally screwed next year. The guys that quit got seriously paid last year and I thought would be part of the solution next year.
But all the runs where they have ball-carriers bottled up behind the LOS, then suddenly, seemingly miraculously, these pedestrian RBs do their best Barry Sanders impersonation and it’s not just a salvaged play, it’s off to the races. I think these plays, more prevalent recently, are the biggest indictment.
A secondary of Collins / Apple / DRC / Jenkins does not go from elite to getting smoked by borderline NFL talent unless there’s something up
Exactly. This D is too talented to just suck. I could see a dropoff from last year, but not this debacle. When this is all over we'll likely hear what's really going on behind closed doors. Mac has lost the team.
I said, I know it looks like that. These are professional athletes who compete at the highest level. They couldn't lose a game on purpose under any circumstance.
Her reply... oh bullshit; did you watch that game!?
something going on with the secondary. Collins is constantly out of postion for a guy that showed such great play reading skills last year. and the rest wont tackle anybody. the question is who is the target of this?
Sapgs would seem like the guy that is under attack, or is he calling all the zones to undermine the head coach? I wonder if when Ben gave up play calling he stuck his nose in and aggravted spags.
It makes little sense because I dont think spags will survive if Macadoo gets the axe. Unless he wants a shot at the interm coach.
that its a coincidence that two suspensions came on the db side of the field within a month. Something is going on in that lockerroom the past few weeks, just my gut reaction watching the past month unfold
RE: How come SF can get there 3rd round drafted QB ready to Â
Now that's funny.
yes
yes
I just showed her Casillas and Jenkins on the 47-yard TD... "What the hell are they doing? They aren't even trying!"

Im thinking this too. The comment JPP had about Reese and this secondary is just fucking abyssmal.

We all were, except for McAdoo of course. He has to watch the tape before commenting because he was napping behind his dark shades during the game.

That's what my eyeballs are telling me.
On the first he doesn't even try to run fast. On the second he overruns the gap in the line while the RB says thankyou and goes right thru it.
I know we lots of better players, but this whole LB thing has to stop sometime...
Oh.......
(hint...its not Webb's fault)
(hint...its not Webb's fault)
Because the 49ers dont have Eli Manning.
