Geno Smith is here for one purpose only. If Giants were in the playoff hunt , Eli tweaks his elbow and has to sit for a game or two and Geno hands the ball off every play and they win 13-10. Obviously they're long past contention but does it make any sense to have him as the back up at this point?
this shitty offense enough to be trusted.
Smith was only insurance, for if we were in a divisional race, and Eli got hurt.....we no longer are, making him useless....
Webb, should now get the #2 qb sets in practice ahead of Smith.....If he doesn't know the plays, then you have a scripted set of plays run, that he has run in practice....
If you are worried about the OL, welcome to the NFL Mr. Webb, because the OL next year could be just as much as a disaster, and I doubt Mr. Smith will even be on the roster.....time to get those feet wet...

is that a knock on webb or mcadoo's shitty offense?
The Giants have said from day 1 that Webb was not going to play this season. Why send him out to the wolves in this situation. What is that really going to prove???
If we are out of it... Let Eli get his start in every game left BUT if we get behind bad put Webb in! We need to see if he is going to be Eli's replacement BEFORE the draft. If he looks great we go in another direction with our #1 pick, if not we NEED to find a franchise QB to replace Eli in a year or two!!! That's why!!

it will probably prove nothing but the slight chance I mean the slight chance he actually looks pretty good? Maybe they can trade down and collect a stock pile of picks and reset this franchise will multiple selections?
Chances of Webb looking capable are slim but right now everyone has to believe we are going to pick QB because we will have a top 3 pick...what if in the last 3-4 games Webb shows signs of being a good QB would that chance your plans in the slightest? What do you have to lose if he sucks? We will probably be drafting a future QB anyway. But what happens if he's good? Then we have trade down options and we know how lucrative those could be in heavy QB prospect years...
the coach is completely clueless.
insurance (Geno) to evaluation (Webb).
if something were to happen to Eli. Coaches are still fighting for their survival and do not want to lose. Webb is not ready for prime time yet. The only way I see that happening is if McAdoo is assured of his return and I donít think ownership will do that.
