Since Deadwood‘s cancellation in 2006, rumors have swirled that series creator David Milch and HBO would be keen on making a follow-up to the woefully short-lived and incredibly violent western, and now, finally, it might actually happen. TV Line is reporting that sources have confirmed to them that HBO is eyeing a fall 2018 start date for production. |

Great characters..
Great characters..
Yup Rome was another one that ended too soon
I also loved time. It's a damn shame they were forced to wrap up the whole series in like 4 episodes.
Ian McShane -- Al Swearengen
Timothy Oliphant Sherriff
Robin Weigert Calamity Jane
Of those, the most essential is Swearengen. Won't be the same without him.
Yup agreed
Agree, but mostly because that was the role. Bullock was the straight laced Sheriff who dutifully marries his brothers widow. His contrast with Swearengen and even to a lesser extent Hearst was great.
I viewed him as almost Elliott Ness-like.
Olyphant is a good actor.
