for 20 years, i have caught watched the Giant games from start to finish. Hell, i didnt care how bad they were. I just wanted to see who did well.
This year is a different story. This team is really really bad. Defense just doesnt care and offense is just not clicking.
so instead i finished up on stranger things, played with my girls(played dress up) and ironed my clothes for the week.
who else just gave up and not watching?
Watched RedZone...when they cut into the Giants, I watch........surprisingly they showed quite a bit yesterday.
She got her first hat-trick of her young career and I couldn't have been more proud.
Even the Giants getting debacled in SF couldn't dent the pride.
.....Thanks for the laugh.

Sounds like a far better use of your afternoon than watching the 2017 NY Giants
Half the team looks like they've quit - why am I going to waste my time?
They're clearly just going through the motions now (and barely even doing that). I don't care how much McAdoo sucks - be a professional and do your incredibly well-paid job.

Can she run routes???
Ha Ha, I did the very same thing on 3rd and 33 last week. I literally told my daughter Amber the Rams are going to try and throw a short pass and pick up some yardage to just get a shot at a FG if they can but watch the Giants blow it and give up a big play. As it was happening I just started laughing.

in weeks. I even said no the opener in Dallas. The NFL is a joke.
You had already quit on the team as a fan before the season opener when we were still predicted to be a Super Bowl contender?

We're going to be talking about personnel and coaches all year...so I watched the whole thing. What was telling to me was on the huge SF bomb for a TD all I could do was laugh. Honestly chuckled out loud and a big sigh.

Miss ya in the neighborhood bud.
"I didn't watch the Giants game yesterday, how about you?"
It's as if some fans needed to have their decision to NOT watch validated by others.
Will the responses you get in this thread influence your decision as to whether you'll watch the Giants next game and if not, why ask?

Agree with this. Any thread that encourages discussion should be bannable.
Anyone who didn't watch is a fucking pussy.

never understood this response... i posted in here because (as a fan) i watched all the time. But was wondering if anyone else just gave up. Hell everyone could have told me no. But some did give up watching.
Does that answer your question?

That wasn't my suggestion and I'm sure you know that. I simply stated that I didn't understand the purpose of these types of threads.
And this thread hasn't really encouraged "discussion" either, unless you consider people posting whether they watched the game or not and if not, what they did instead as an actual discussion.

whats the difference to you though? again, you could just not come into the chat or just create another. im just saying that my purpose was to see what everyone else did or did you really give up? im surprised that some still watch. But they gave their reasons so its interesting.

It still seems like you (and others who start similar threads) are looking for other people to validate their decision.
If everyone said that they're still watching (or that they also gave up) would it influence your decision to watch or not watch next week's game?
In any event, I never suggested you shouldn't ask. I just said that I didn't understand the purpose of these threads. I certainly didn't mean anything personal.

i know but think of it on the other end... does come off as shitting on this thread.
all good. I made that decision to not watch so if everyone said they still do, i would listen but still not watch for my reasons.
but the reality is i knew some wouldnt
