I was playing the guy sitting in first place who was 6-2. Because I made the move and grabbed Parkey, I won by 0.08 points. Or, another way of stating it, by 8/10ths of 1 yard or by 8/100ths of 1 point (don't ask me how we score fractional points to the 1/100th decimal place.
So now I sit, hoping for no stat corrections. I knocked the leader to 7-3 with the win, he is now in a tie for first at 7-3, I maintained by position tied for 4th best record at 6-4...but more importantly, there are now 5 players 1 game back out of first place, and 7 players within two games of first!
I will have a week 11 lineup question, but wanted to say thanks to you guys for helping me get the win. It was the right call, now I have to hope I can get Elliott or at least Justin Tucker (who was let go because of his bye week) back on my team when waivers clear tomorrow morning.
Would you simply start Mixon @DEN
or pick up one of the following and start them over Mixon (PPR):
Burkhead @OAK
J. Williams vs BAL (Jones and Monty questionable)
Ekeler vs BUF
Clement @DAL
Yeldon @CLE
Cohen vs DET
Booker vs CIN
Ivory @CLE
Charles vs CIN
that's the best of the shitty bunch.
Only one that stands out is Burkhead since I have Brady and they de-activated Gillislee last week, but he's an injury waiting to happen and Belichick messes with his RB rotation purely to fuck with fantasy football owners.
So, I have two lineup decisions to make for this week.
I think the first is the more important, which is how to deploy my RBs for week 11. I will most likely use my flex as a RB as well, so I would need 2 of this group (Jordan Howard is my #1 and is obviously in my lineup this week):
Jay Ajayi @ DAL
Jerick McKinnon vs Rams
Alex Collins @ Green Bay
Joe Mixon @ DEN
Derrick Henry @ PIT
And here are my receivers (Robert Woods is still available and I plan on making a claim for him which I think I have a pretty strong chance at being successful on), need 2, or 3 if you like all three of these over a third choice above (standard scoring):
Devante Parker vs TB
D. Baldwin vs ATL (thinking will be matched up w/ Trufant)
Stefon Diggs vs Rams
Perhaps Robert Woods vs Vikings?

With Baldwin, he lines up in the slot most of the time. You'd have to go check how often Trufant slides in to the slot, I'd guess they keep him outside and that he isn't a concern for Baldwin.

Out of that group I think I would go with Mixon. The only one that is really actually tempting is Jamaal Williams if both Jones and Monty are out, but I don't like his matchup with Baltimore. I don't think that's a good matchup for Williams.
The upshot with Mixon is he's far more talented than his production has been, but he gets volume, and can take one the distance, as he has already shown this year.
That's an impressive victory yaj, but I still would have beat you 😎

Congrats, that's the 2nd time this season you've outscored me.
True, but at least you draft Kamara to make up for losing DJ
Ha, yep thanks! I did worse though, I dropped him in a keeper league early in the season.
I always like Brees, even outdoors though some don't. decent schedule too, only away games are @LAR and @ATL through week 16.
it seems like every time my team plays against a Brees team, he's doing mediocre through half time and then he puts up 300 yards and 2 TD's. every time.
I think there will be some TD correction coming for Brees as teams shift their attention to trying to stop the Saints running game. Upgrade to Ben/Rivers for sure.
However, New Orleans has emphasized the run recently and Brees' production has been mediocre. I would still roll with him but it bears watching. Last year, there was only 6 games in which Brees didn't attempt at least 40 passes, and only 1 game in which Brees attempted fewer than 30 passes (and he still threw 29 times in that game). Last year, he COMPLETED 30 or more passes 6 times.
This year, through 9 games, he has only attempted 40+ passes in a game twice, and not since week 4, and he has already attempted fewer than 30 passes 4 times, including his last three games. And he hasn't completed more than 30 in a single game in any game this season. So I think there is some cause for concern just because of usage, but he's still a pretty damn good fantasy QB, especially with so many injuries at the QB position, with a pretty favorable schedule the rest of the way.
Hate all those options, would have to say Fitzpatrick for this week though. Dolphins just got carved up by the Panthers, and Evans will likely have a big week coming off his suspension assuming Fitzmagic can get him the ball.
I have Brees in my main league and am in 3rd place despite his unwillingness to throw in the RZ this year. Ive never owned him in fantasy and it sucks he's choosing this year to not throw in the RZ but I think that course will change. He's a solid weekly start and can blow up on any week against any opponent which is very nice to have come playoff time.
or
Matt Ryan @SEA
have Ben in now, he looked decent last week, also have Antonio Brown who did not look so good, I expect a bounce back.
Would anyone consider Ryan without Sherman back there but with the return of Earl Thomas?

I take Big Ben at home vs that defense.
Yes. My sleeper is Dede Westbrook. I think he'll really help Bortles because he is a great YAC guy, and I think he'll get some big plays as teams try to stop Fournette.
I do like Bortles over Fitzpatrick.

Agreed, I don't think you should look to try to avoid the Seattle defense right now.
Flex:
Brandin Cooks @OAK (sort of disappointing) or Davante Parker vs TB or it could be the other of Drake/Martin.
Cam was struggling this year even with Kelvin. He's been so hot and cold. KB is a good WR just not a top tier guy who can elevate an offense. I don't think he'll have a ton of success in Buffalo if Tyrod remains either.
Should I add Butker? Tucker or keep Succop?

I have Martin this year. It seems like he's cooled off after doing well a few weeks ago. Not sure on Drake, but I don't see Martin as more than possibly a RB2/3 as the ceiling.
