So right now we are 1-8 and the 49ers are 1-9. They have a bye week this week and the Giants play the Chiefs. Most likely we are going to lose. Which would put us at an equal 1-9. According to tankathon.com our strength of schedule is 0.524. The 49ers is 0.548. If we do end up losing are we #2 in the draft order? Thanks for any help!
SOS analysis should exclude common games (so current SOS is not best indicator).
NYG vs SF strength of schedule tiebreak (wins by non-common opponents, lower total picks ahead)
==============================================================================
NYG:: DAL, WAS, PHI, KC, LAC, OAK, DEN, DET, TB
5 + 4 + 8 + 6 + 3 + 4 + 3 + 5 + 3 = 41
NYG has 14 Automatic Pickups:
DAL-PHI*, DAL-LAC, DAL-WAS, DAL-OAK, DAL-PHI, WAS-LAC, WAS-DEN, PHI-OAK,
KC-OAK, KC-LAC, KC-DEN, LAC-OAK, OAK-DEN, DET-TB
Giving NYG total of 55. NYG has possible pickups in 35 games.
SF:: ARI, LAR, SEA, CHI, CAR, JAC, HOU, IND, TEN
4 + 7 + 6 + 3 + 7 + 6 + 3 + 3 + 6 = 45
SF has 14 Automatic Pickups:
ARI-HOU* ARI-JAC ARI-LAR, ARI-TEN, ARI-SEA LAR-SEA
LAR-TEN SEA-JAC JAC-HOU JAC-TEN JAC-IND HOU-TEN
HOU-IND IND-TEN
Giving SF total of 59. SF has possible pickups in 33 games
If total ends up the same, I'm not sure what happens with NYG/SF tiebreak.
Bahahahahahaha!!!
in all honesty, i hate to say it, but i cant see this team going winless next 7 weeks... I think too many Division games are close, no matter what. I have to think this team has some pride left to show up for a divisional game, especially if Washington is eliminated.. I dont know..
This team is no good for people with high BP
You know that's not true. This team isn't through ripping our hearts out just yet. What will happen is we will go into week 17 only needing one final loss to secure the 1st overall pick and somehow Washington will lay an absolute egg and the Giants will win a 13-10 type fiasco. Costing them the first pick. It's absolutely guaranteed to happen.
This should be an extended pre-season look at our young guys and different combinations on the OL and DL. Start Eli to keep his streak alive and give Webb some touches in the second half of games getting out of hand.
If they cannot reverse some of the thinking here with regards to trade downs and interior linesmen, dont know what to tell you.
Just need to "clean up the film" !!
