Just saw a PFF grade of Shepard's for this past week (93.2 - the highest for any receiver) and thinking about how he stepped up the past couple of games now that he's the primary receiver (outside of Engram obv.). And, one of the positives seems to be that he's taking a huge step forward with Beckham out. Same with Engram. By the time we get OBJ back next year, I expect he'll be rejoining two guys who have much more experience and versatility than they otherwise would with OBJ in the line up everyday.
Just a thought about a lost season at least...
But your are correct.

Thank you, so dirty
Hopefully the Giants can address the OL, LB, and CB in rounds 2-7 and FA.
This ...please ^^^^
Reminds me of David Johnson (AZ back).
Barkley - Odell - Shep - Engram ... wow
25 QBs in this league would kill for a trio of OBJ-Shepard-Engram. Two firsts and a high second.
Would 49ers be open to a trade? If not and Giants do pick third, they will take Barkeley.
So, I think, really, draft position will make the decision for them.

if the giants pick third, they wont get barkley. the 49ers will take him second....
we need to either have the second pick or the 49ers trade out of it to a team that wants to take rosen or darnold at #2. then it goes
browns-darnold
team that trades up-rosen
giants-barkley
i would be VERY happy with barkley, he is going to be very good. fix the OL in FA, give webb another year at least to learn. and then after next season webb takes over....or if eli can still produce in 2 years webb takes over....imo we dont NEED to draft a QB in april...id be happy with barkley
