Defensive End Jason Pierre-Paul

Q: How has Kareem Hunt been able to have such an explosive season?
A: I don’t know. He’s very fast, quick.
Q: So it’s the speed that concerns you the most?
A: Yeah of course. He can get out there on the edge. He’s very fast and we got to make sure we shut the edges on that.
Q: What do you notice about Alex Smith’s discipline?
A: I like that guy Alex Smith. I played against him a couple times and he’s a very cool cat. I like playing against him, but he knows what to do, man. He’s been in the game for a while, he’s a veteran of the game and we got to keep our composure. We can’t think everything is a passing play and we got to set the edge and make sure we stop the run.
Q: Do you feel like you’ve been getting on guys more in the last week or so?
A: I don’t really get on anybody, man. We all come to work for a purpose. Starting off to set a goal is to win a championship here, right? Coming up short, guys really got to motivate yourself to work and even if you’re losing, you have to motivate yourself and be the best that you can be.
Q: Has that been a challenge?
A: Nah, it’s never been a challenge because I’m always going to go 100% no matter what.
Q: What about the rest of the team?
A: The rest of the team, yeah. I don’t think it’s been a challenge, but when I look at guys eyes I think they understand. It’s all about finishing, finishing the season strong and we’re all professionals. We’re ready to make some tackles this week. Y’all going to see me out there running.
You used to do it...

How can he get on anybody? You have to walk the walk first!

100%? Apparently he must sleep through the game videos....Or he doesn't realize that guy wearing #90, is him!
Take a look at film, of the games he played at the end of the season, after he hurt his hand......even though he only had one sack, he was hustling all over the field, because he was playing for a new contract......compare that to this year....if he can't see the difference he never will.....he got his money, and is not hungry anymore...
I tend to agree that a 3-4 DE might be his best spot. A switch to the 3-4 would be a good idea. Tomlinson can play RDE, Snacks at the NT, Vernon is built more like an OLB and had played standing up before. Goodson can man one of the ILB positions. We would need to draft a couple LB's and pick one up in FA.
