Wheeler played well. Flowers has been solid for a few weeks. Jones has made more plays to the second level than Richburg ever has.
I'd let Pugh and Richburg walk and use the money to find a LG if one becomes available.

The KC team just seemed somewhat lackadaisical today.
Maybe without Hali their pass rush just isn't the same.
If they keep Eli clean on Thursday, and can run the ball, I'll start buying into this Oline a little more.
Didn't he head butt someone last year that cost them a big gain?
I nonetheless still expect some lumps of coal from the OL the rest of the season.

This is 100% fact. Also easier to cover up deficiencies at guard

Crazy, isn't it? And it keeps happening.

Wheeler has played one game, let's slow down on making him LT yet. And you absolutely cannot use the first and second picks on Oline
Its young and should be much better. Jerry can stay as a swing guy to back up with all-world Hart and Bis.

I think we see two new starters next season . I want
Barkley but if he is gone Nelson or Chub would be my nest
choices , I think we will let WR walk and there are a couple of FA guards and some good talent in the draft .
There are a lot of good RB's coming out as well we need a HR threat at RB .
Pugh is a putz. He’s being talking about getting paid since April. Yet, he’s barely an average lineman and constantly hurt. Just another wasted pick by the current administration, who’ll be gone after his rookie contract.
It may not be that bad, but it is still a long way from good, the running game was OK but still! Can't convert 3rd and 1!
Whose saying the team isn't a giant heap of shit? The offensive has played well the past couple of weeks.
But people still killing flowers are putting too much blame on him.
And Pugh if he is resigned at a reasonable contract is serviceable as well as Jones.
That is a left side of the line and center. Need a right tackle and a guard. Hopefully this can be addressed.
The guy I dont want on this team is Richburg. Undersized and figured out by the league.
Let's see them start moving defenses to finish this season, perhaps then it will lessen the urgency to overspend via UFA.
doesn't mean our offense has improved as a whole however... which suggests issues beyond just the O Line.
the good news is it may mean we don't need 5 new guys next year.
This offense could have been decent enough if the coach had figured out who his best offensive linemen were back in camp and if our WR's didn't all get hurt at once.
But, it's too late now.
The good news is that Flowers looks like a serviceable OT rather than the trainwreck everyone made him out to be. Fluker is a keeper. Jones can hold his own and we might have something in Wheeler.
We still need help - but the OL wound up being a little less of an issue than many thought they'd be. They were horrendous the first 2 weeks but things have slowly stabilized since.
Don't fool yourselves. KC is not a good defense and does not rush the passer well (they are 23rd in the league in sacks). They also don't defend the run very well being 28th in yards per attempt. We averaged about 3.5. 300 yards total offense,
12 points in 69 minutes of football is nothing to write home about. Take the win gladly but don't think that this performance was anything.
Even when we would ask a back or TE to chip the DE it was almost always an adjustment made mid-game because the tackles were being abused, instead of being a part of the game plan.
Wheeler looked good in part because he got a lot more help from the tackles than Hart usually does. That's not to say that Hart is as good or better, just pointing out the help given by design.
